feeling down

feeling really down at mo
thought i was on the mend i had a break down 5yrs ago and still on anti depressions
all presents are bought i've loads of money in the bank so its not money worries
my boys are 9 and 10 and i have a lovely dh
i just have no go, not doing decorations this year cant be bothered, every card i receive i shove in the recycle box, carpets need hoovering, bedding needs washing but what did i do sat and sun? stayed in bed (dh was away working) i do work long hrs mon-fri about 55 but normally i'm fine, but now i just cant get going.
none of the presents are wrapped dont know how to get motavated again

Sorry to hear this dmo. Is it worth making an appt. with GP to see if you need to change AD's.

dmo - classic depression symptoms. I don't know what you can do to get yourself motivated as I usually sit the weeks out until the phase passes. Can you do horrible stuff like shopping on-line? That will save you some energy. Get your dh and kids to help with the decorations. Then, even if you only watch from the sidelines, it might help you feel a little more festive...

Hope you feel better soon. WEhat ADs are you on? Maybe it is time for a change?

already shop online dont really like shopping full stop so do most of it online
think i will go and see my gp again
i have gone down to 20mg about a year ago

I was on Escitalopram (Cipralex rather than Cipramil) and they stopped working for me. Maybe it is time for a change...

just phoned dh and started to blubber on the phone (i never cry) dh is getting me a cleaner in the new year and he said he will wrap the presents
but that doesnt sort it does it dont know what will
