Just that really.

Have been pulling out my hair for years and years and it has been getting worse and worse lately.

I'm sick of it and just want to stop, but I don't know where to start. Am worried that my GP will give me the brush-off.

Any ideas? Anything worked for you?

Hi there!
I developed this when I was 13, and stopped around the age of 40 ish! It's horrible, and for me it was something I did when stressed. I don't know why I stopped, I think it was getting help for depression, lovely dh, who never drew attention to it, and becoming more aware of triggers for it, and using other ways to comfort myself when under stress..nail biting seems to have taken it's place!
This may be an useful website. All the best, and thank you for being so brave in talking about it Flowers
