My uncle has MH issues - fear of being poisoned, as well as almost certainly being on the autistic spectrum. This means he is not very socially able and can seem quite scary to my DD 3.5, as he also looks quite unkempt. Every time she has met him, she has run away and not wanted to go anywhere near him, which is really embarrassing and makes me feel awful as obviously this won't help uncle's self-confidence either. Any ideas?
