Ooh a thread with my name in it Grin Blush.

Erm are you going to get cross with me? Didn't go as am honestly feeling quite a bit more like me. But I really will make and keep another appointment if I start feeling awful again.

And you didn't kill my thread :)

Glad you're still feeling a bit like yourself. As regards cleaning, I have to be careful, as once I get started on the mess resulting from me feeling too down to do anything (and no-one else mucking in Grrr) it has been known that I cannot stop, and then I burn out. Classic Flylady stuff, if you have come across her. Am much better at managing myself now though.

Worth keeping a daily note of your mood? IME when you feel bad it's hard to remember the last time you felt better, and vice versa.

Have to say I haven't got the problem of doing too much cleaning (although more likely to go the other way - am trying to keep things at an acceptable level).

I am using a website called Moodscope which is helping to monitor how I am doing and you can write notes to say about how you've felt which is also a good record. Am back on the way up there which as I know I am feeling a bit better is good.

Possibly was also having elements of burn out through having worked v intensively for a while. Will keep monitoring myself.

And thank you for posting here and having started this thread for me :)

I saw the thread about Moodscope, and even took a quick look. I'm hopeless at keeping regular records - or even doing anything on a regular basis! - so it's not for me. The best I have ever managed is a brief daily note of my mood on 1-10 scale on my calendar, but even that didn't last above a week!

Mode stern: hope you rang the surgery to cancel appt, rather than just turning up...

best!

oops just not turning up.

Having said that, turned up for my 9.30 GP appt yesterday, to find I'd got the time wrong and it had been at 9.10. My nice GP managed to squeeze me in (ooh, vicar!)
