Exercises to do at home...

Currently kind of trapped by a 3 month old that screams when I'm not holding him or he can't see me, so gym, run etc or anything out of the house is out if the question.
What can I do at home to aid weight loss and tone up? Do sit ups, squats etc even do anything??
Really hate feeling so much larger and more wobbly, and eager to get myself sorted asap.

Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD is excellent - it only takes 20 mins a day but it is effective.

So many options for you! Just go easy if you have any weakness post birth in your stomach muscles or down below ;-)

Lunges, squats, jumping jacks, planks, (sit ups are not usually done with good form so avoid them this soon post birth), mountain climbers, spider planks, high kness/running on the spot, chair dips, all the yoga poses....google/youtube is your friend here. Pick 4 exercises per session and nothing else, focus on those 4. Do 10 of each move then repeat the circuit 3 times and see how you feel. So example:

warm up
10 x jumping jacks
10 x lunges alternating legs
10 x squats, slow, bum sticking right out the back, no bending forward - good form is essential on these so you don't put your lower back out
10 x high kness
a yoga pose/stretch for a few mins to warm down and increase your flexibility

repeat 3 times all the way through. So only 30 of each move. Make sense? Ultimately this will get easy very quickly, so change up with other moves that you fancy or add a little bit of resistance with a light weight to start. Keep your diet the least processed as you can sustain (I know what sleep deprivation is like!) and you will see lovely changes and you will feel better and full of energy very quickly.
