Legs!

Hello
After a bit of advice - what is the best type of exercise to slim and tone legs? My legs have always been my problem area. They're naturally chunky and seem to have got worse since entering my 30's and having a baby. I have quite a lot of cellulite and saddle bags Blush. The only time they've ever looked half decent was in my teens when I rode horses everyday for years. This is not an option these days.

I've always been active and weight in general isn't an issue - just my sausage legs! In the past I've been to body combat regularly and pre baby I ran a lot. Also tried spinning and Pilates. I'm currently doing the 30 day shred and 30 day squat challenge. My torso/abs look visibly different in just a few weeks but sadly my legs look just as flabby.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I must admit running didn't alter my legs that much when I ran pre-baby. Perhaps I need to lower my expectations and accept the fact I'll never have model worthy legs.

Best dust my running shoes off Smile

Lower body fat us the Bain of a woman's life and the hardest thing to lean out unfortunately. It's not impossible to do but it does take time the right foods will burn away body fat sadly legs always last to lean out.

Try cycling - I've been running for a while, but its only since I've been cycling hard that my legs look really noticeably shapely all the way up

body pump slimmed and toned my legs a bit - managed to go down a jeans size too

Running made a big difference to my legs and how toned they are.
Also try Jillian Michaels DVD "Killer Buns and Thighs". Three levels of about 30 mins each. It's excellent

Running is great for burning fat (making muscle more visible), running up hills will give you a pert bum, cycling will tone your legs
