I have been doing the shred for the last 10 days and have been really impressed with my progress, as I am a very unfit size 18.
For the last few days I have had pain and swelling my right arm. After a trip to the doctor it turns out I have aggravated and old injury and on anti-inflammatories . He has recommended no more shred or any other DVD that involves weights, press-up etc for a while and i continue physio exercise.
Can anyone recommend a DVD that does not need a lot of upper body strength. I really want to get fit and tone up. I also don't want to stop now as it might take me years to build up the will power to start again.
I'm no exercise dvd expert but I do Natalie Cassidy's dvd and you could just stick to the sweat section (which is a fairly intense workout) and leave out the arm movements of which there aren't that many.
Hopefully somebody else can offer you some better advise soon !
