Hey ladies,

A while ago I lost a massive 7 stone through healthy eating and doing Davina's power of 3 workout. I felt great :-)

Then I fell pregnant with twins who are now 4 months old, I have gained 2 stone but really want to lose 3 overall.

3 weeks ago I started doing Davina's video again and have been following a sensible diet and have gained weight!! Initially 3lbs but today have lost 2 of them.

I know the video Is working as I can feel a loosening in my clothes so I assume it's muscle gain?

Does this seem right to you? How long do you thing it will be before the scales start moving down? I know that they're not the be all and end all but I've been working my butt off and want to lose at least 1lb from my start weight!

Your weight can really fluctuate due to hormones, hydration, digestion, body composition and all manner of things. That's why it's a really good idea to ditch the scales and invest in a tape measure. Can you think of your target as a size/shape rather than a weight as that's the healthy thing to be focussing on, and consider your weight as a byproduct.

Think about the huge arguments about BMI, or the complete range of weights/sizes that are posted on the what do you weigh threads on here. It really isn't relevant if you're a healthy size, have a healthy diet and exercise regularly.

You are right, of course you are. I like to see the figure in numbers though! I'm a complete hypocrite as I'm always the first to say "go by your clothes"!

Get rid of the scales and measure yourself.......will be a much more accurate chart :)
