Depends how flexible you are ..... some people find it easier than others. Geri Body Yoga is actually quite good if you are wanting toning up as well as yoga benefits. Some like Kundalini Yoga also include the 'mind' IYSWIM. I like both - but different. First is more physical - relax by concentrating. Second includes a bit more chanting .....

Look on this website: Yoga Journal Loads of videos from different instructors for different levels, all free. You can also download the audio versions onto an ipod so easy to do anywhere. I like the Jason Crandell ones.

I brought this one a while a go and quite liked it and didn't have much trouble when I went to proper yoga classes later on (i.e with the basic movements and forms)

That said its the only proper yoga dvd I have tried :)

Yoga is getting famous with in many specially among young generations. They turn yoga because it is more easy and less time taken as compare to other exercise work out. It reduce fat in a better manner and turn it into healthy and strong muscles. It also reduce tiredness and refresh body from whole day working tension.

I think you have to do a very energetic and advanced version of yoga to get much in the way of fat burning thomasJ!!
Running/cycling/swimming etc are far easier ways to lose weight.

I do agree though that yoga is great therapy :o

as somebody who does yoga several times a week for several years
you are MUCH better going to a class rather than using a DVD as only an external view can check what angle you are holding your body at
the most exact tradition I've found so far is vini / vinyasa yoga
we get people in classes who have used DVDs and some arrive with habits that are doing their backs no good at all.
Wii yoga is quite good as it detects your exact posture
