Does anyone do sessions with the British Military Fitness?

I was looking into this and wondered if others had tried it and what they thought of it. I could only do two sessions a week as the other one clashes with another commitment. How long are the sessions? Has it been effective?

I did this a couple of years ago. I loved it. It was knackering but enjoyable and I found my fitness levels improved quite quickly. I usually did two sessions a week which felt enough! My DH joined on my recommendation but hated the group /team style of exercise so didn't last long. The instructor was firm but encouraging and the others in the group were a mixed bunch and very friendly. The sessions were an hour long.

I only stopped because I became unwell but I would recommend it. It's particularly good in the summer months.

I've done them and they are good for motivation and that your with people of similar fitness. But where I live there are only 3 sessions a week. I could only make 2 and the price of membership for just those 2 wasn't worth it when I was paying for a gum membership ontop so I could exercise on the days inberween

Yes that is the conclusion I have come to. It's just too much money. I wouldn't always be able to go because of the kids. Also I live in Scotland and it is bloody cold up here most of the time! Shame as I really like the idea.

DH goes to the Dundee one and raves about it. He does it twice a week and it has definitely made a big difference to him. He's much fitter and his arms and torso are much more defined. He says there are more women than men there, so not male dominated which is what would worry me. I think you can do a free taster session which might be worth trying? HTH
