Got up early to get washed dressed & ready with school bags packed etc so I could watch the opening pairs...

It is all going so well- Poulter is being all swaggery, Westwood is being stoic, it's raining, the Americans had terrible shoes yesterday and they have a player called Bubba. How fucking fantastic

Europe..Europe ...Europe!!!!!!!!!!!!

(its going to be just me, isn't it)

It's GOLF.

They wear SWEATERS.

Therefore this should not be in Sport and Exercise.

As you were.

You are right.
A thread about an international sporting event has no business on a board with recent threads about chaffing, pilates, pole fitness and love handles.

Oh is it on today? How could I miss that (aside from
Blanket ads/previews on sky and radio five for last month).

It's a rule.

If they aren't getting warm enough to remove layers, then it's not a sport. (Cricket and bowls included in that btw.)

Millions may disagree, but they are obviously wrong too.

That, and I just don't have the concentration for something that takes sooo loonnnggg.

I love most sport, but things involving a gentle stroll just don't get the heart beating faster (in any way..)

We are up in two and Poulter is playing well. A good start would be great in these conditions.

Europe Europe!

Have fun!

(Although it's not a sport, obviously, I still wish Europe well. Like I would if they were taking on the US at tiddlywinks or similar. Wink)

Pagwatch - just to say that it was totally thrilling and I'm sure Graham McG heard your words of encouragements on 16 today!
