Exercise

Never done any 'proper' exercise in my life... considering purchasing a FITNESS DVD and need recommendations!

I like swimming for pleasure but haven't got the time atm (new baby, DP works long hours)

Can't commit to a regular class of anything because of the DC and DP's changeable work hours

TBH I can't stand the thought of the gym or anything like that

Am NOT a jogger Grin

Don't need to lose loads of weight or anything but could certainly do with toning my post-partum shape (saw self naked in full-length mirror yesterday, in mellow lighting - SHOCKING)

What would you recommend, oh Lean and Lithe ones?

I like all of Davina McCall's DVDs. There are a few and I have them all so that I don't get too used to them. Some find her irritating, but I like her.

To be honest though, it was C25K that really got my fitness levels up and my weight off.

I 2nd 30 day shred. There is a thread on here with a lot of us doing it. I have done 60 days so far!

An excercise bike and a tv. You can watch your favourite programme, or a film, while cycling.

I second Davina! Any of the DVds with 30 minute workouts are fantastic. Quite intense but short enough to fit into your day.

Davina Fit is the latest one I think and the aerobic fit workout on it is a great workout but still fun.

I have lost about a stone. There are muscles under the flab i am sure! Also lost 3 inches off waist, 1 inch off each thigh and 3 and a 1/2 inches off hips! Smile

TheCrackFox I have cut down on food but not followed a diet. I am still not very good with food so i think the exercise has helped. Smile

I have come to the conclusion that I don't like dieting (who does?) but don't have a problem with sensible eating and some hard core exercise.
