Thanks a buyer has called me 'an unpleasant all round ebayer' not sure why and hasn't contacted me just left me a neg is there anyway i can respond to it on my feedback as had 100% with over 130 transactions before.
On looking at her 'poitive' feedabck she does this often and we unlucky sellers can only positive her and leave our explanation there!

I think you can respond to a neg as I've read other peoples responses, can you report her falsley neging you?

FWIW, as a buyer if I saw that one negative amongst over all your positives, I'd go and look at the person who gave it. I suspect I'd get the same message from it as you have, and I'd disregard her impact on your feedback.

Well i suppose i could report her but ebay don't really care. Guess it's her interpretation of me but am surprised that over 130 transactions she is the first to find me 'unpleasant'! I even let her collect the sheets i guess the house with 3 dc's in must have been an unpleasant collection ? I was in constant email with her which were all pleasant.
Would have happily refunded her as she got 4 mothercare cot sheets for 99p!
cargirl that's what i want to do any idea how to do it ?

WTF is the buyer on about??

Ok, click on your feedback page, scroll right to the bottom & it'll say reply to feedback recieved, click on this then it will bring up all the feedback that has been left for you - click on the one you to reply to then put your comment, enter & it will appear underneath.

I would report the feedback though as there was clearly no need for it!

thanks MrsMagoo i am really upset about this as have refunded in full the two occasions a buyer had been unhappy!
Have been looking at her feedback and she has left a few negs seemingly unfair to people who have all had over 100 positive transactions.
Will report who knows but ebay never seem to reply personally to any email just their standard response!

Yes you can. Ihad a fuckwit buyer leave me a neg and I commented underneath it that she should have contacted me with her grievance (which she should have: she complained she had not recieved her item when it had been returned to me once by the post office and I had sent it to her again without her paying any extra postage).

Yes you can, go to feedback forum and reply to feedback recieved.
I had a neg recently, I replied to every email(up to 3 a day!)....she put No communication, Dishonest Ebayer.

I looked through her feedback, someone had called HER a Dishonest Ebayer, the remark had clearly stung a bit so the spiteful cow thought she would pass it onto me.

Thankfully I have over 2000+ and after the first neg( I have 3 now) It doesnt hurt at all.
What pisses me off though, is I have offered refunds, and they neg me. SURELY thats not worthy of a neg. Thats good customer service????!!!!!!

Just seems sometimes you can't win no matter what you do!
You hope everyone would be the same as you i guess!
I really would only leave a neg as a very last resort and agree if you have given a refund that's as much as you can do , same as a shop surely ?
Think some buyers do it because they can which is sad for the mainly genuine people on there!

I thought sellers could still leave a neutral for buyers. Can't they?

Fraid not SoupDragon as a seller we can only leave positive which just sucks!!

Lilyloo I would definately report her neg to Ebay as it's unjustified!

you either have to take it or respond to them but have to leave a positive to do that which is a joke!

I can't find anywhere on ebay which says you can only leave +ve as a seller. I know they changed it so you couldn't leave a -ve but it doesn't seem to say that anywhere either - their help topics are a pile of cr*p!

soupdragon it's the only option it gives you when you go to leave feedback either positive or leave feedback later!

Oh, I don't doubt it but the "how feedback works" bit on the Feedback Forum actually states "For each transaction, buyers and sellers can rate each other by leaving Feedback. Each Feedback consists of a positive, negative, or neutral rating, and a short comment."

MrsMagooo · 16/11/2008 17:53

It gives you no other option SoupDragon - well other then 'I'll leave Feedback later'

go to the bottom of your feedback page, click on 'feedback forum' and then 'reply to feedback left', it will come up with all feedback left for you, down the side you can click on 'reply'.

Hope this helps.

If you think someone has left you unfair feedback you can contact them via the Feedback Forum and request a revision of feedback. Whether they will do it or not I don't know.
