I'm getting back into my eBaying, massive clear outs will keep me busy over this free listings weekend, wondered if anyone wanted to join me in making Christmas as cheap as possible and having the good people of eBay pay for most of it!

But why am I so slooooooooooow listing things?

Tell me what to sell. For pity's sake.

If it aint nailed down I'm listing it this weekend. If it sells then smashing, if not I've lost nothing but time. I love my iPad app for selling, makes life so much quicker and easier!

I'm in - got injured out of the Olympics challenge after the £100 bronze medal (camera got broken), but now have an old but functioning camera to use and a large sorted pile of stuff to sell. (and bags for charity shop/recycling)

People like bundles of Next/Gap baby clothes, right?

What is everyone else selling?

I'm in, but I need to make that by the end of Sept. No income now

I've thrown a load of baby equipment on yesterday and today I've put women's clothes on. Tomorrow I'm going to have a blitz of men's clothes and accessories. If it's not nailed down in this house, it's getting flogged! It has felt really slow over the summer and I've had loads of 99p sales and postage losses. Not many watchers on my auctions so far though, get a bit obsessive checking ;)

I have made £200 in the last fortnight (selling some Ikea furniture!) but can't see me making a lot more before Christmas but I'm in to try. We are moving in a week's time so I have binned piles of junk but have (hopefully) left myself with a few decent items to sell!

I'll join you. I'm not sure that I'll make £300 by Christmas but I can damn well try.

I have some clothes of mine and the children's to sell. I just want to get rid of them and the money would be very helpful for rebuying via PayPal for Christmas and DD2's birthday in November.

I've had good success over the last few months and I've made between £300 and £400 pounds each month since February time this year.

I've sold hundreds of clothes, shoes, baby stuff, maternity wear, toys, games, hats, virgin vie stuff, and underwear (new stuff)

I've got 56 listings ending in next 12 or so hours and this has been the slowest month by far.

Going to have another major clear out between now and next weekend and get as many listings on as possible

I'm in.I started at the beginning of the month with some bits that I was going to bin/charity shop and am up to £130 so far,which I'm pretty amazed at.I had a bidding war break out over a well loved cuddly toy,it went for over £20.I can only think people wanted it as a replacement for a lost one.

I think I'll have to do a car boot too,there is a lot of heavy stuff that I can't post.

I've got a pair of Dr Martin boots I've been waiting to put on and I coulld do with having a sort out.

It will give me something to do on a wet bank holiday.

I've got about 44 items listed from last FLW. I've an idea to list as many new items as just sold, so if I sell 6 items this time I'll find 6 more to list next time.
So far only one item selling, but it's got 5+ watchers, so good start.

I've 2 items on Gumtree, too.

We are talking seriously about moving house, birthdays coming up as well as the obvious Christmas, so very motivated to reduce possessions!

£300-£400/month, Babylon? . I think I'll be very pleased if I can touch £200 by Christmas. You lucky sausage I only hate you a little.

I've got ten items on, don't expect great things from at least half of them so need to rustle up some more stuff. I have a brand new with tags on flower girl dress but it's probably the wrong time of year for that. I could put it on with a reserve on a free listings weekend though couldn't I?

Benedict - the min. reserve you can put on an item is £50. As it's free listing just up your starting price.

I have a couple of bxes of toys - suitable for car boot etc - but don't know whether I should list them as a job lot

Do other eBayers make sure their listing end in the evening? Or just take your chances, I know there is something to say that it's better for it to end on a Sunday night. Any truth in it?

I like them to end on a Sunday, only be aide I think more people have time to sit and watch them.

I've just found a binbag full of Disney beanies from about 12 years ago. Some have tags and others don't. Do people still collect those things? Im sure I could list them as rare now.

I'm not sure I have £300 of stuff left that I can eBay, but I do find that these challenges help keep the momentum going. And since my main aim is de-cluttering that can only be a good thing!

With regard to listing I always end them in a evening, after the soaps have finished when there is not usually much on.

I made £200 last week and paid it off my huge mamas and papas bill for this baby.

I'm going to list some more today although am annoyed as eBay have cut my listing powers as I had too many branded items this month for sale

I think today is free as well Cinders with it being a bank holiday.

Ahh bollocks! There are loads of beanies for sale but nobody is buying them.
