Hi Craicnetters!

I was looking for the other thread and see it's fallen way down the list so I decided to make a new one for all our daily musings ☘️

Brave families who never gave up.

DeanElderberry · 20/04/2024 11:07

Blue sky! Sunshine! Swallows! Can this really be Ireland?

honeyrider · 20/04/2024 11:17

A beautiful day, time to get the laundry done.

Tá lá álainn againn inniu.
Tá an samhradh ag teacht 🤞

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 20/04/2024 17:11

I really hope so @LadyEloise1 it's been lovely and bright here today but still very chilly!

Such a joy to hang washing out and not be stressing about it getting soaked!!

eggandonion · 20/04/2024 19:08

Good evening! My dh was out at work all day. Our fridge was full of leftovers. So I stayed at home all day doing absolutely nothing but marvelling at nice weather.
Glad to see the end of covid titles to the threads 🙂

VibeOnWithMyGalPals · 20/04/2024 19:09

Fierce mild today….

It's so emotional...
A bittersweet result did them
Mrs McDermott is such a lady.

The apology from the state is to come on Tuesday now - I hope they are satisfied with the wording of it.

Brave, strong people.

halfpasteleven · 20/04/2024 21:57

*for them

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 21/04/2024 22:54

Dia dhaoibh, a chairde! Nach bhfuil an aimsir go hálainn ☀️

Hopefully we will enjoy a nice sunny few days now. We could do with it.

eggandonion · 21/04/2024 23:26

Hard to believe that the fire was before Simon Harris was born...a lifetime that the families have been campaigning.

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 23/04/2024 09:02

God yes that puts it in perspective @eggandonion I have nothing but admiration for those families ❤

honeyrider · 27/04/2024 14:18

I'm trying to stay awake, I was at a wedding yesterday and I'm tired. It was a great wedding but my feet are dead.

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 27/04/2024 18:10

It would take me four days to recover from a wedding if not a week.
I'm glad it was good and you enjoyed it @honeyrider !

I think it will take me a week. I had 3 glasses of prosecco at the pre diner reception and 2 - 3 glasses of wine if that much with the meal then switched to water. However I suffer from GORD and forgot to take my medication yesterday and the reflux and acid burn is killing me.

JaneJeffer · 27/04/2024 19:31

I always say the next wedding I go to I'll wear comfy shoes but I never do and end up in agony

I always end up kicking them off - even in the church and then definitely all through the meal!
Flip flops then for the dancing!

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 28/04/2024 13:41

I haven't been to a wedding in years! I do love all the "is this suitable for a wedding" threads on here though 😆 Sore feet had to be one of the worst afflictions I hope you feel better soon @honeyrider

honeyrider · 28/04/2024 14:34

I didn't wear high heels, not able since I broke my ankle years ago but the arthritis in my feet flares up every now and again. I didn't get round to breaking in my shoes though they weren't bad, more so when walking outdoors than indoors. Another couple of wears around the house and they should be grand.
