Surprised to see a bit of ewcm with the last spots of AF?! Did an opk and had the faintest of lines. Looking like ovulation could creep in earlier than the usual CD13, so may have to rethink my carefully planned out DTD strategy! Jumping DH tonight and will see how the line is looking tomorrow x

Nearly died after dh said no Dtd once I get upduffed!!! Let him know that would make me feel undesired and unattractive! I know sometimes there are medical reasons, but honestly I couldn't do 8 or 9 months!!

Banging headache today so just waiting for ovulation to happen. Successful dtdeeds so far with DH but he's away on Wednesday for 2 nights now so really hoping I'll ovulate today/ tomorrow so I'll be covered.

Yes Kate, think you have worn him out. My DH said he's looking forward to not be here on wed/thurs so he can get some rest! charming!

Had a slight scare yesterday. After a bowel movement had red blood when wiping. Exactly the same as what happened when I was 7 weeks. About half a teaspoons worth. Rang EPU, midwives and gp and was just passed between them all as I am at a stage right in the middle as to who I see! Went to a midwife drop in today on advise from nurse at gps. Saw a lovely midwife and she found babies heartbeat straightaway so I'm feeling much better now! She said if no more blood not to worry and if anymore blood or any pain to request a scan.

In my head if anything was wrong the heartbeat wouldn't be there? Sounded just like a old train!

My main feeling today is exhaustion. I'm so tired I feel like I've been drugged. My boobs hurt. That's about it. But oh my god I could sleep on a washing line right now 😴

Having a row with dh over this. He said he thought it was normal and that he doesn't know how he would feel. I said that would make me feel really fat and unattractive... I thought this process was (weirdly) making us closer...three steps forward and two steps back, I suppose!

Not sure about ov yet - opk negative now. So today? Yesterday? No dtd on the cards. Feeling unattractive already!

Kate, my DH said the same about when the bump appears he will feel different about dtd! I am worried about this also, as I don't want to not have that connection but will try to persuade him. Saying that in previous pregnancies I've felt so sick and tired it was last thing I wanted until about 22 weeks!

Bad ovary cramps today, no positive opk yet either but think it's near..

so I'm new to this app but I need advice!!
I've been on the pill for around 8 years, I came off it nearly two months ago. I had the usual withdrawal bleed, then I had my first period 12th August. I hit peak fertility on 30th. I'm then due on Friday just gone so now 3 days late. I had cramps so thought I was bound to come on but nothing. I couldn't wait so I had to test straight away! NEGATIVE! I have now done 3 tests  I've been feeling sick, sensitive to smells, tired, hungry, and slight cramping still!
I feel like I'm driving myself insane and annoying my partner with how obsessed with it I'm becoming!

Hi slmc! Ttc is terrible business! Some people don't get positives for ages after ad due! Or it could just be progesterone and your cycle settling...

Hi slmc, it took my body a few months to settle after the pill. I too was on it a very long time. Either you are pregnant, and it's early days, so not yet showing on a test, or the bleed you had was a break through bleed which I had after the pill for several months. I wasn't ovulating as my ovaries were still asleep from the pill. Had blood tests done and my hormones were crazy!, thankfully settled now. Give it a few more days and test again? Until you get a proper period it's hard to know when your day1 (cd1) starts. I too had nausea and stomach cramps during this time (which gets your hopes up) but gp said was fluctuating hormones. Could be wrong? But just sharing my exp from coming off pill. Fingers crossed you get your BFP if that's what you want :)

Dtd- sex (doing the deed)
OH/DH is other half, darling husband
Opk- ovulation predictor kit
IC- Internet cheapie test
FRER- first early response test
Ov- ovulation
Cd- cycle day
Dpo- days past ovulation
Cm- cervical mucus/discharge
EWCM- egg white cervical mucus
BFP- big fat positive
Bfn - big fat negative

I've definitely ovulated as I was testing and a big smiley face to show I was at my peak. So naturally I thought my body was back on track. I've read online others saying they didn't get a BFP until 2 weeks late! fingers crossed!

Jod, no I've no other DC, mentioned the other day that I was surrounded by boys but was talking about my (many) younger brothers! DH's nephews and my baby cousins. A lot of you have two already! This thread seems to be have a lot of mothers on number 3!!
Hi SLMC, I conceived about two calendar months/3 cycles after coming off the pill (almost 9 years on it) this year. I had been reading a lot on here though and it takes many people that amount of time and longer to have regular cycles again, while others fall pg the day they come off it. It was a confusing time for me but it helped when I realised I couldn't control it and every woman reacts differently. Really hope you'll have BFP in the coming days!!)

12 DPO no tests for me mimi I've given up. Not even tempted. Sore boobs disappeared this morning so I think it's bye bye progesterone hello AF. Will be onto cycle 10 by the end of the week
