Morning everyone, just let me wolf down this amazing meal of tinned tongue, hardboiled eggs and ginger beer (don't you find food always tastes so much better outside?) and we'll toddle off on our latest adventure. We'll make sure Anne does the washing up (you'll make a proper little housewife and no doubt the fecund mother of four fine sons one day Anne <approving>) and us boys can have the proper adventures! No, not you George - you're nearly as good as a boy but not quite. Leave the actual procreating to me and Dick. Woof woof! Shut up Timmy!
Last one left should hit the self-destruct button.
I've enjoyed this fred too. Bye bye, childhood nostalgia!
<Tools up, ready for the action hero fred>
Me too
We've done Malory Towers. We've done Famous Five. They're the two obvious choices.
Yes. If we work hard at school and come top in French, it can be our reward.
I am altogether too fond of Enid Blyton, I fear.
Well we can have another one soon then <hopeful>
Yes, but I've promised Aunt Fanny not to eat them till lunchtime. Sigh. I wish we could stay on Kirrin Island forever.
Have you got your sandwiches wrapped in brown paper Norf? I'm sure we will be back again when we cant think of a new theme next summer <holds hand & stares wistfully out of train window>
<sits sadly on train which is chugging out a twee message of the "back-again-soon" sort>
I can't believe it only lasted 3 weeks.
Farewell to Kirrin Island. I too am sad are adventure is at an end
Ironically enough, I clipped my hair to one side on Saturday and I looked just like Anne. Not good
Goodbye Kirrin Island. Goodbye Jo the smelly gypsy girl who now has a pleasing carbolic aroma and cast off gym shoes. Goodbye Joan the cook and thanks for all the topping meals! Five and the Adventure of the IVF Conception comes to a close.
Do you know what? I am feeling actual sadness FFS!
I am unwilling to let go of my fred. What a sadact I am.
I wish the hols could last forever. Goodbye Aunt Fanny. Goodbye creepy Uncle Quentin. Have fun with the fisherboy, Timmy.
I have enjoyed the famous five fred. Farewell Julian, Dick, George, Anne and of course Timmy. Well done for diffing Jeffers.
Bugger, auto-correct fail!
Atkinson = taking
You lot are Atkinson long about the new fred that I've taken matters into my own hands.
New fred here
<throws hand grenade into smugglers cave and torches Uncle Quentin's study>
My internet is broke. That's why I'm not here. Just thought I'd say. Bloody BT.
Whoever does it needs to shoehorn "Yippee kiyay" into the title
I still have NO symptoms apart from hurty boobs. Oh and bleeding gums when I clean my teeth. And weird shivers.
Lazy shouldn't I be rubbing you for good luck?!!
Good work with The Sechs Frank. Now who is doing this new Fred?
Lazy at this point, nothing you do could possibly be considered unreasonable.
Thanks for the boob info. It's odd. It's usually the first sign I have to confirm I have oved and they stay hurty until about 24 hrs before Droid arrives. I'm not complaining, it's nice not to have the pain, but I was expecting it to be worse because of the high progesterone levels. In November I was feeling queasy from 2dpo until my period arrived a few days early and vey abruptly. In December I felt queasy for a few days and then it wore off, again starting at 2dpo.
Hurrah for the FrankelFollie's eruption!
<whispers into Euro's ear>
My boobs didn't become hurty until 6 or 7 weeks. In fact, until the day I tested I felt fewer symptoms than I had in previous non-win months.
First thing that really clued me up was feeling ill at the smell of someone eating prawn crisps on a warm tube. Made me want to wretch.
Fanks for the good link - would IBU to text it to my dad and MIL every morning?
<innocent>
The FrankelFollicle has errupted - temp leapt 0.5c this morning. We did the sechs on Friday night, Sunday morning, Sunday night and again this morning (sechs fail on Saturday, despite trying 3 times
) so it's all in the lap of the gods. Blood test to confirm ov is next Monday and then T-Day is 20th.
<wafts a curry at Lazy>
Lazy you might find this website useful at this point.

EmBarryO is doing naff all as far as I can tell. The spacey feeling from yesterday has gone. And my boobs still don't hurt. On my two CPs I had symptoms super early - 2-3 days post-ov. So I don't think anything is going on this time. I'm 5 days past EC (ov substitute) now.
Just checking in on EmBarryO and the FrankelFollicle - 'tis vair exciting 'round these parts!
Thank you for the bday well wishes. For now, if you don't mind,I'll just hide out in the superhero lair snd wait for LazyBoy to arrive. I like all the ESH action - it's helping to distract.
<rubs up against Jefe for good luck>
<wraps self up in cloak of invisibility>
It took me a good while to go to the PESH. I felt like I was going to jinx everything!
jeff that's totally normal and understandable. PESH is moving quite slowly at present (not that many differs) but when you're ready, poke your nose round the door.
euro it's such early days, Tis impossible to tell and impossible not to menkul
Well done on the stabbing norf, sure it'll get easier with time
Second meet with MIL was easier. She didn't touch the bump once!
Jeff stay as long as you want. I can't imagine not being part of this board. It has been a part of my life for so long.
Action movie thread is a good idea. It will mean I won't need to reread loads of trashy 80s chicklit to have some idea what is going on (although that could be fun too)! I love a good action film.
I'm just back from seeing an inaction film - the Life of Pi. I saw my friends with the IVF 4 yr and 2 yr old twins. When we mentioned the word "cinema" they looked wistful!
I've felt a bit crampy and odd this evening. Trying not to menkul. I've noticed one odd thing - despite the extra progesterone, my boobs aren't hurty. They normally start getting sore within 24 hrs of ov. I'm 4 days past egg collection now and have been on the progesterone fanny bullets since Wednesday. Puzzling. <Gropes self> <Fends Timmy off as he is trying to get a bit too friendly with my leg>
