Hi all, this is my first month TTC after waiting to TTC for 14 months so I am very excited ( and a lil scared). I am 26 and this will b r first baby. So if anyone else is in the same situation, come and join me and we can get excited together! (grin)

ill join u!!!!! im always 26 and ttc our first. this is our 3rd month ttc but first month of being absolutley manic lol.

i keep thinking that next xmas we should fingers crossed have our lil bundle here and cant wait!

Hello sunshine. I'll join you. I have been off the pill since end of October. I was on it since I was 16 and I'm now 29.
Last month I was convinced I was pg without really trying - had loads of symptoms but then AF turned up on the 1st Dec - albeit strangely only 2 days worth.
I am now 3 days late for my AF. I tested this morning and got a BFN
However I have heard it can take a couple of weeks for the hormones to show up for some women so I will retest in a week or two if AF still doesn't rear her ugly head.
What stage are you at?

I'm on CD6 at the mo and af is still lurking so haven't actually got started yet! Lol

freckles I will say that when I came off the pill last year in prep it took about 10/11months for my cycles to go back to 'normal'. Hope that helps keep u a bit saner while waiting on af. Altho just bcuz ur cycle is messed up doesn't mean u can't conceive during that time, so fx for you! Xx

setay I hav been thinking that way for a year, everything I try to make plans for 2013 I always think I shud b with child by then! Lol it's mental I know! Lol
I should b testing around 31st jan hopefully, what about u girls?

ill be testing around 26th but knowing me ill be testing everyday from end of next week lol

started my healthy eating plan this month and making oh take pregnacare for men in the hope that this might make a difference

have u been browsing the baby clothes sections of supermarkets? we just keep ending up there i dunno how!

Yeah I have my poor dh on the same vitamins and won't let him take hot baths anymore! Lol

I haven't been browsing clothes cuz my husband won't let me yet! I'm totally jealous u get to do it! Lol i have been checking out nursery stuff online tho, but I keep telling myself that's practical research, not mental! Lol

I have been daydreaming about how I will tell my family tho and bothering my dh with constant baby name suggestions! Lol

Hi ladies. Can I join you please? I am also 26 and trying to conceive my first. I am on cycle 2 and my AF is due on 6 Jan. I stupidly did a test yesterday and of course it was a BFN! I was really disappointed as I know there was lots of DTD at the right time. Anyway, not holding out much hope for this month now but am finding the whole process really quite stressful so it will be good to talk to others in the same boat : )

Well I my AF was due 31st Dec...

Im 24 and now looking to get pregnant. we decided for definite 14th Dec and I came off my pill then. I have only been on pill say 3 years properly so I am hoping it wont take long to get out my system! I was on cerazette for 3 months before I came off the pill and had no periods so I dont know when to expect my 1st one now Ive come off!

I hope to get pregnant soon so I am super excited and look at baby things online too lol x

Bluefreckles have you tested yet? Been tempted to?

I tested this morning but got a negative. Still no sign of AF. Will retest in a week or so if AF does not rear her ugly head prior.
I really hope I am pg but don't want to get hopes up for me or my DP. Weirdly bar peeing A LOT and being vacant/tired plus a tiny bit of cramping and bloated feeling, I am having no pg or AF symptoms at all...

I have a feeling the closer I get to my AF date the more I will symptom spot!

Am 29 and came of pill in sept. waited until dec for cycle to get back to normal.

Feeling a bit crampy today which I know can be an early sign but could be something else so fingers crossed. Not going to do POAS test until miss af though.

I'm 30 and we're on cycle 2 of TTC. This is the first month we're taking seriously, so I'm v v excited. bfp due 23 Jan. I've got an ov kit for the first time- going to start testing on Sunday.

I came off my pill in the middle of December and I think I just Ov'd, so my AF is possibly due around the 16th Jan. Was on the pill for 10 years though so have no idea what my cycle is, I've just been trying to spot the ovulation symptoms! Trying to be relaxed about it all and just see how it goes, but I'm seriously considering buying a thermometer to start charting...

1st cycle trying to conceive came off merina coil 28th nov.

Should be ovulating 6th so at it like bunnies at the mo!!

Hey everyone! Just an update here my best mate just informed me she's got er bfp, she came off the pill last month. So iv spent the evening crying with jealousy. Time to get over it and be there for her.
But thought id share to let u no there is still hope!

Hi everyone! I'm new to the site after Googling for threads for people going through similar things. I'm 26 and trying to conceive as of this month. I'm so excited and anxious! Constantly getting carried away thinking of names, imagining potential sprog's personality traits etc. Been charting my cycle for months on my phone anyway and I'm (+/- a day) 28 days every month. I'm relieved because I was confirmed via blood tests as having high testosterone and PCOS, so regular cycle is a godsend/fluke. Anyway, my AF is due 16th Jan and I'm already reading into the odd prickly feeling in my nipple and the weird feeling, not like a period cramp, but that I am aware of my uterus? Anyone else going stir crazy reading into 'symptoms'? I think I should take up intensive knitting again because sore fingers or not it might take my mind off TTC for milliseconds ;) Nice to meet all you ladies going through similar things!

Hi BunnyTamer. I am definitely symptom spotting. I'm sat at my desk at work thinking about how sick I feel but I swear I am probably just imaginging it. My Af is due Sunday and have already had one BFN so am determined not to test again until at least Sunday (no matter how many phantom symptoms I have!!) It's difficult though when it's all you can think about!

Hello everyone. Bit of an update - still no AF for me or any symptoms to suggest she's on her way...
Was due on 31st and normally pretty regular. Did a first response pg test 6am to days ago and BFN.
Not sure how long I should wait to test again.
Keep wondering if my missed AF is due to bring pg (hopefully!) or just my body starting to be irregular after years of bring regular?? HELP!
How is everyone getting on? Anyone in the same boat as me - late but BFN?

Hi everyone, can I join too first month ttc 12 th Dec coil removed peak on clearblue fertility monitor 23rd, looking at sticks I think Christmas Eve highest peak so ovulated Christmas Day so 10 dpo test everyday because I have no patients :-) all bfn

Felt sick
Breasts larger
Higher closed cervix!

Getting slightly obsessed! But what I wanted to say was it took me a week after period due to get bfp with my son! This website gives the odds

Oh blue keeping fingers crossed for you! Iv heard quite often of people not getting there bfp until quite a while after af was due.

Just wishing the month away now, I'm Imagining ovulation symptoms although I don't normally ov for another 7 days but my bodies convinced me it's sooner so now I'm panicking that I haven't dtd enough lol. There's always something else for me to worry about!

Here hoping this thread gets some bfps soon!
