Old thread here

Make yourselves at home everyone. Jake & George are just loading everyone's 'baggage'! Wink

OP posts:
AmandaCooper · 17/11/2010 20:32

By baggage you must mean DH! Make sure they store him the right way up and with no direct heat sources near his bits!

Yay for the new thread!

nannyl · 17/11/2010 20:35

hello again
Really Really really hope this will be my lucky thread... (unless we post too much lol)
if not it will be an emotional one for me!
Im here and im here to stay Smile

thanks bebe for the new thread.

Good Luck to us all Smile

bebejones · 17/11/2010 20:44

Take 'baggage' to mean whatever you want it to! Wink :o Think Jake & George are struggling with mine, there appears to be rather alot! Hmm

Really hope this thread is as lucky as the last. :)

Thanks for the new thread bebe. Here's hoping it's lucky for everyone on board :)

Off to watch the Apprentice now while DH is out - can't watch it while he's around as he comments all the time Hmm

Oh & I can't take the credit for the thread title, it was ACs idea!

Ooh a new train!

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks everyone for the best wishes about our dog. It was very hard but definitely the best thing to do in the circumstances. She was a little fighter.

Let's hope this train takes everyone to their intended destination (unlike most of the trains in Cornwall yesterday....)

WYorksLass · 18/11/2010 09:43

Oooh, a shiny new thread. I hope this one is as lucky as the last because as of last night...

We are no longer waiting!!! Grin

Well, ok, we're not exactly trying as i am on CD24 of a 27 day cycle but the condoms have now been ditched in preperation for a 'proper go' next cycle.

Just realised i forgot to take my pre-natal vitamins last night too, ooops. I've now switched from just folic acid to Pregnacare, just need to remember to take them!

Have a great day all.

JustShaggingForNow · 18/11/2010 10:13

Loving the shiney new train bebe also very exciting that a lot of people will be TTC before the train reashes the next station and we all have to unload onto the next!

For the duration of this journey you will mainly find me in the bar car...... no change there then!

Jake, fetch me my slippers and a martini, I'm settling down for a long ride :)

2 more days of normal folic acid for me then on to the sanatogen Confused

WYorks - very exciting!!! Wedding & TTC all at once!

Quod - did you get out of Cornwall?

I'm seeing my friend in a bit with her baby who is 2 & a half months old now! Will be nice for the older 2 to have a play! Also going to GP again later for my stupid hip! Need to get it sorted, TTC won't be much fun with a dodgy hip! Hmm (Of course assuming I can convince DH!)

OP posts:
squirrel007 · 18/11/2010 13:56

wyorkslass very exciting times for you right now!

bebe have a nice time with your friend and her baby :)

js will have to come and join you in the bar for a non-alcoholic cocktail this afternoon :)

I am so so hungry still, was really not expecting this when pg! I've just eaten a large lunch and half an hour later I'm starving again.

At least it's almost the weekend and I am going home :) plan to tell my parents and let them spoil me!

bebejones · 18/11/2010 14:11

Had a nice time with my friend, got to hold the LO, but she was a bit grizzly so was v brief! The older 2 played quite nicely but were both 'attacked' by a horrid little girl who hit them over the head & pulled some of DDs hair out by pulling out her hair clips! :(

Squirrel - hope you have a really lovely weekend, hope you do get spoilt! Bit Envy of your pregancy 'hunger', just didn't get that until 20 weeks! Wink

JS - hows the bar car? If you could get Jake to whip me up a strawberry daquari I'll be back later! :o

100years · 18/11/2010 15:09

Afternoon all.

How are we.

Lovely new thread, I'll be staying here whether I get a BFP or AF just because I like it here with you gals :)

Twiddling fingers, hormones going crazy, just wishing I didn't have to wait for 2 weeks to know a yay or nay. I'm sure the 2WW is not healthy!

Yay for WYorks :) It's great ditching them even though you know it's too close to AF.

Only 2 more horrible night shifts then the weekend off :)

JustShaggingForNow · 18/11/2010 15:10

Hi All!

The bar car is fab thanks! Just had to put down my 4th mojito though as my colleague who is on maternity leave just came in with her 8 week old LO/ She is super super cute and I had a lovely cuddle. Feeling very very clucky now :(

Better get Jake to give me a nice massage to take my mind off the baby!!! Wink

100years · 18/11/2010 15:23

I'm not sure but I think we are visiting a friend this weekend with a LO. I'm super broody anyway, this will obviously make me a little worse I fear! Will be good to see them though.

nannyl · 18/11/2010 17:43

wyork- also congrats on ditching contraception there cud be a few more pgcies popping up on this thread soon :)

bebejones · 18/11/2010 19:54

Well turns out I have essentially got tennis elbow of the hip (can't remember the proper medical name) Have to go back to doctors on 9th December & might have to have a steroid injection into my hip joint! :( Not fun!

Forgot to mention earlier DDs priceless statement of the day!

DD: Mummy, let's go get a baby!
Me: Where from?
DD: Tesco!

:o

Nannyl - I feel for you, makes me soooooo mad when DH isn't home for dinner! Grrrr! Angry

JBells - 4lbs isn't too bad. 2stone overall is the average & 4lbs is less than 1/4 of that! How exciting for the scan next week!

The mum hardly did anything, was so mad, makes me feel so uncomfortable when people let their kids get away with that. She looked younger than DD, but a proper bully in the making. Walked straight up to her with the building block & smacked her straight on the head, DD actually has a bump! :( Then later she sat next to her & hit her round the head with her hand a few times. DD pushed her arm away & said 'No, don't hit'. Not alot I could do, they were in a little play area & I couldn't get in easily & DD was just so perplexed & nervous she didn't want to walk accross it to get to me! The mother stepped in in the end but was a bit horrid for poor DD & my friend's DD.

JS - How nice to have a cuddle. :) Hope Jake has my Daquari lined up, I am in serious need this evening!

100 - no early testing Chat to us, we'll try and keep your mind off the 2ww! Wink

Happy Friday!! :)

Just wanted to say, have added another con to my list...DH can't drive!
Not the end of the world, but it's very annoying!

JS - also meant to say & Brizzle (or Bath) meet up would be lovely when you are settled! :)

WYorksLass · 19/11/2010 09:55

Hehe at your DD bebe, kids are hilarious. DSD is 8 and still comes out with some funny stuff. She is also convinced she knows everything, even when we tell her she is wrong about something. An 8 year old knows better than 2 adults apparently! Hopefully she will grow out of it soon but according to OH her mum hasn't managed that yet Grin

jbells - any child makes me broody if they are behaving themselves, i do get a bit put off by badly behaved kids though. Although i do have a giggle at toddlers throwing tantrums, am sure i won't when it's mine though.

nanny yep, i am from and live in West Yorkshire, how did you guess? Grin

AmandaCooper · 19/11/2010 10:57

We three are all Yorkshire lasses then!

AmandaCooper · 19/11/2010 11:00

Envy at everyone throwing the condoms away.

Just had my telephone interview though, which seemed to go quite well (come on lucky train!) so you never know. If I do get this job I'll have to put ttc on the backburner for a while as there'll be so much to do and think about at work. But I really want it! Two weeks till I find out. Keep your fingers crossed for me, everyone!

WYorksLass · 19/11/2010 12:40

Oooh, good luck with the job AC, interview sounds promising. Fingers are crossed.

Yorkshire rocks :)
