I use them on holiday instead of beach towels. They really free up space and they dry quickly.
Amazon have loads

Yes, got them from Turkey. 5 of them take up less space than a beach towel and they dry so much quicker!

I bought one on ebay after reading about them on here, and it is brilliant. Huge, folds up tiny, dries quickly. MIL got me two more from Turkey which are really silky feeling.

I did the same, a few pounds on eBay after reading about them here last year. I much prefer the feel of cotton over microfibre and they dry so quickly.

I did the same - a few pounds in eBay direct from Turkey in a few days and I love them. I much prefer the feel of cotton to microfibre and they dry really quickly.

are they made of a special kind of material or just bog standard cotton like a sarong?

We use them too. Thicker than a sarong. Pretty effective as towels, much quicker drying.

I love them and just bought some more as our non-camping, in-house, "summer" towels as our normal house towels never dry in the summer. Love them for camping as well !

Have just ordered a couple for our holiday, hate wasting suitcase space on big towels!

I've just ordered a couple. Hope they are small enough for hand luggage for my Ryanair flight.

Mine arrived today, tried one out on dd2 after her bath, FANTASTIC! I am a convert. Bit Hmm at the attached invoice which described them as "samples" with a value of £1. Guess that's why postage is so cheap!

Can anyone who had bought them recently send a link to that product please?

Look on eBay for the seller bosphorusshoppeuk.

These are the ones I have, though the other ones being sold on amazon look very similar.

Interestingly I much prefer them to the ones I just bought from the horses mouth in Morocco. Hopefully when they have been washed and dried a few times they will soften up but right now they don't seem tot absorb the water off you very well :(
