Struggled last time and luckily had a boy - Noah. We're agreed on Edward this time but still can't decide on girls name. Please help us choose:

Audrey or Claudia ?????

The meaning of Claudia has always put me off that name - Claudia is latin for 'lame' or 'disabled'.

I like them both actually. But there's something about the beginning of Audry that I like and maybe not the end? does that make any sense? So maybe Audra?

Love Claudia (or Claudine, also beautiful). Don't worry too much about the meaning - I get people on the training courses I give at work to talk about their names as an ice breaker (also helps me remember them!) and loads of people don't know what their names mean.

Claudia is pretty.

Audrey is that woman from Corrie who used to be in Rentaghost , and I think in the UK you will still get that sort of 'old woman-ish' connotation, rather than the elfin French 'Tatou' one.

claudia but agree it doesn't have the nicest meaning for such a pretty name
