Neither are to my taste but I suppose lilac if it's for a middle name

If Katherine I would go for Lilac! Very pretty.

Katherine is really lovely. And I like both names...

However, I personally kind of associate doves with mangy, sick birds flying around crowded cities and getting their feet chopped off by wire... (but that's probably just me being weird!!!)

Whereas Lilac is a beautiful bush with a lovely scent. So, I'd go with Lilac

Dove says "soap" to me. Lilac is better.

I prefer Lilac, very pretty

How about Paloma as a dove alternative?

Don't like either but Dove is particularly dreadful.

Lilac. I'm afraid I agree with Zippy de Dove.

Katherine is a lovely choice.

Katherine is lovely. I've never heard Lilac used as a name before. I can't see why it shouldn't be used. I think it's the kind of name that would grow on the more I heard it. Smile

Dove makes me think of soap. Wren?

I thought I didn't l like either till you said the first name. Katherine Lilac, very pretty. Nice spelling of Katherine too.
Dove sounds like a brand though.

Paloma is beautiful! I vote for that.. (is it Dove in Spanish or Italian?)

pizza

It's colomba or piccione in Italian. So, probably Spanish? Idk ;)

I like the Paloma suggestion for the middle name but Katherine Lilac sounds lovely and unusual. Really like it.

Dove sounds like a brand of soap.

Lilac gets my vote.

I first thought of the colour lilac which seemed a bit odd for a name, but then thought of the flower/tree which actually seems better. And I love lilacs - we have one in our garden Smile So I vote lilac too.

Lilac was on my list for DC2. I love it! Couldn't use it though as he turned out to be a boy!
