Dove or Lilac?

Katherine is really lovely. And I like both names...

However, I personally kind of associate doves with mangy, sick birds flying around crowded cities and getting their feet chopped off by wire... (but that's probably just me being weird!!!)

Whereas Lilac is a beautiful bush with a lovely scent. So, I'd go with Lilac

Katherine is lovely. I've never heard Lilac used as a name before. I can't see why it shouldn't be used. I think it's the kind of name that would grow on the more I heard it.

I first thought of the colour lilac which seemed a bit odd for a name, but then thought of the flower/tree which actually seems better. And I love lilacs - we have one in our garden So I vote lilac too.
