Opinions would be great.

I told my aunt and she likes it, but thinks it is a very ''early nineties'' name...?

And what middle names (2 or three syllable to go with surname Grey)

LynetteScavo Wed 22-May-13 22:10:55

Actually, I think it's one of those names which is almost a classic.....I went two Zoe's who were born in the 70's, and it was on my name list when pregnant in the late 90's, early 2000.

Gorgeous name, randomly I've always fancied being called Zoe myself.

Lovely, middle name Annabel

PoppyWearer Wed 22-May-13 22:14:34

It's a great name. Not mine, have a friend called it, and agree it's one if those names that seems timeless.

I like it. i saw a baby zoe not so long ago, made a lovely change from all the isabels and olivias.

I love it too. My friend's 2year old is a Zoe.

My friend has a 4 year old (cannot believe she is that age already) who we all call ZoZo

I love it, there was a baby Zoë on the ward when DS was born 2 years ago. I think it ages well.

I like Eden or Alice as middle names, but Alice would mean her initials would spell ZAG? Unless you added another name in there too? Not sure if that would bother you but I notice things like that.

Sorry meant to say we i think it is adorable smile

I like it. I know a 36 year old and a 5 year old. I don't think it's 90s name.

I think of it very much as a name of the mid 70s, as y sister was one of 8 Zoes in her year at school. I've met two baby Zoes recently and really liked it- as someone said, lovely change from Evie/Grace/Niamh/Amelia. My sister has 2 x 3 syllable middle names, but I am not going to out myself by telling you them!

dozily Wed 22-May-13 22:29:24

I like it too, and know a 5-year-old Zoe smile

GreyTS Wed 22-May-13 22:32:57

Not dated I hope, I have a 2 year old Zoë, only know one other around here (Ireland). My Zoë's middle name is Eleanor

Southeastdweller Wed 22-May-13 22:33:09

Love it. Almost classic status and not common.

justhayley Wed 22-May-13 22:38:57

I love it, went to school with a Zoe Elizabeth - now 29.
I think it's a name that could be considered a classic it's timeless, not fashionable not old lady just well classic

TheBirdsFellDownToDingADong Thu 23-May-13 07:04:05

I think it's lovely. And very underused.

Not dated, because to become dated, it had to be uber popular (Karen, Louise, Emily, Ava, Finlay, Joshua etc) and Zoe I don't think ever was.

It's great!

SwishSwoshSwoosh Thu 23-May-13 07:06:22

I think Zoe is a truly lovely name.

OrangeFootedScrubfowl Thu 23-May-13 07:06:56

I like it, I don't think it belongs too much to any time.

Theironfistofarkus Thu 23-May-13 07:08:19

Like it too. Pretty name

JumpingJackSprat Thu 23-May-13 07:30:35

lollypopsicle Thu 23-May-13 08:46:07

It's on our list for this baby as a possibility so obviously I like it! I also met a baby Zoe the other day.

JojoMags Thu 23-May-13 08:53:58

I love it. I think it sounds classic but also fresh iyswim? I wouldn't associate with any decade.

cantbloodywellchoose Thu 23-May-13 09:31:54
