I do not mean this in a bad way but anyone hear the same names over and over and over the last couple of years?
Mines are:
Jayden - had 8 clients so far this year with that name
Ellie
Eva
Imogen
George
Girl names ending in Lee, Lea, Leigh
Amelia/Amelie, Isabella/Bella, Poppy, Freya for girls.
George and Freddie for boys.
There is a lot of similarity of names around here, and similar styles - so most of the girls have 'pretty' names and the boys have traditional names.

There seem to be quite a few John Pauls around this area.

We have 4 Florences at my DD's nursery. And I thought I was giving her a slightly unusual name....

Round here (in Scotland), we're awash with Islas. There's been a flood of Noahs this last year too, a couple of Kaylas, Archie is cropping up quite a lot too and Oliver.

Evie, Molly, Taylor (double barrelled with may or Lilly usually), Ava, lexi, ruby and milly for the girls
Alfie, Jayden/kayden, Charlie and Daniel for the boys
Dd just staring playgroup in the new area now which is completely the other end of the spectrum to the old one! The girls names are very similar but the boys are more William, Reuben and Charles which is very odd hearing them being politely beckoned shouted across the room when they're rubbing sand in each others eyes

All lovely. I can't quite get my head around Jayden though. Is it the 2010(ish) equivalent of Wayne?

Oh and the oh so original (as claimed by 3 friends who don't know each other) Lily-Rose

My youngest dc is 5, so I don't know loads of babies, but 4 out of the 10 or so babies that I know born in the last year have been called Felix.
I don't know any Jaydens or any girls with names ending in Leigh/Lea etc
Popular here seem to be deriratives of Luke: Luke, Luca, Lucas
Also Jack, Charlie, George
Girls names seem to be more varied and unusual: we have an Autumn, Willow, Swan and Skye in some of our groups
Charlie and Noah for boys, and Olivia and Sophie or Sophia for girls
Meant to say as well, I don't know any Jaydens but do know 3 Brayden/Braydons!

But usual Ava Evie eve
And
Charlie and lots of Noah's
One of the wags of DH best mates has an Ava and she is midwife you would have thought she would have noticed every other baby was called that but they thought they were being original at the time!
flowerygirl DD's name is on your list.
To answer your question, we knew it was popular. But it's a family name and we knew we were going to use it whether it was number 1 or number 854,294. <shrugs>
