i got out of my car wanting to scream but politely said what are you doing i was waiting for that space?
her reply?

normally i would have lost it but as i had dd with me (crying because she needed the loo) i calmly got back in the car and came home (mumbling and muttering under my breath all the way!)

YANBU - i too have had one of those days where people have cut me up and pulled out in front of me. argh.
Well done for staying calm with dd being there.
Not making any excuses for her but she probably had a bad day aswell, but that doesn't give her thew right to come from round you and pinch the space which you was clearly indicating for.

trying to park in a supermarket carpet on a saturday lunchtime is horrific. sunday morning around 10.45 is much easier, IME

My ex an extremely mild mannered man was reduced to foaming at the mouth, incoherent with rage by an almost identical incident in Nottingham City Centre. Got to be one of most irritating things ever.

I'd feel the same. Hope she crashed on the way home. Not for taking the space but for her rudeness. But then I'm queeen of retribution and once planned a revenge over two years in order to get it right.

Personally, I think people who speak to others in that way should go to prison.

What I never understand is that people like that have jobs and husbands and are allowed to be part of society.

They should have their picture on posters and be required to state on any job application that they tell polite strangers to fuck off.
Can you tell I'm grumpy today?

That's just nasty!

If she crashes, she, one of her passengers, or some other poor sod could be injured.

Oh Lordy, don't you realise that you should avoid Tesco at all costs on a Saturday???

Some would say avoid Tesco full stop, lol.

Ok,should have stated a crash which injured nobody but cost her lots of money and made her miss something very important. There!

myredcardigan · 08/11/2008 15:16

Oh I never shop in Tesco for all sorts of reasons and I'd rather pull my own teeth than go on a Saturday.

Oh for that magical bird.........
I would like a pet bird that I could summon at will, for just such a purpose.
YANBU. Rude woman!
