AIBU?

To cry because I put on a bra

A normal bra with fitted straps and proper, supportive cups.

Not one of those ugly white now grey cheap sports type bras that I have been tolerating because I cant find any bras big enough to go round my back. They will be all going in the bin now as I have lost 2.5stone and can actually wear proper bras now!

I am so happy I actually cried Blush. I have food issues that I'm working though and slowly and steadily losing the weight. I have so much more to lose but, joy, I can wear proper bras again! ☺

Keep the 1 bra as a motivational item.

Well done for the weight loss and I'm am happy you now get to wear something that makes you feel good.

Thank you so much. Can't believe the happiness a bra brings me. Clearly I need to get out more Blush my husband looked like I had lost the plot when he caught me in tears, half dressed screeching 'it fits, it fucking fits..." Grin

This is fantastic, I've actually cried a little tear for you! 2.5 st is an amazing loss and I can hear the joy in your posts that you're seeing the results of that.

You say you have food issues - do you mind me asking how you've overcome it? I've had MH input and diagnosed with a food addiction but the help ended there due to budget cuts so I'm floundering (and getting fatter). I'm not yet at a point where I can't find clothes to fit but its getting close so I know I need to get on top of it.

Very well done to you, that is brilliant, good for you! As someone else said keep one as a reminder of what was now in the past & look ahead to comfortable boobs!

Thank you everyone. Me and my tits are most delighted Grin

diddys (by the way fitting name for this thread Grin) oh I know there some lovely bras out there for big knockers. The problem I had was finding tiny cup sizes for mahoosive back sizes. I did find some but when I got them the cups were like a parachute despite me ordering size B

imnot truth be told, I have not overcome my food issues, and probably never will completely, but I am.trying counselling yo get to the bottom of it. Good luck it's so hard Flowers

Fantastic! Well done. Sounds like it is just the start of a rewarding journey. I agree keep the old bra as a motivation. Maybe have a wall of your motivations and control / weight loss milestones and hang the bra on it.

Congratulations and well done !!!

I don't agree with hanging onto the old bra. Make sure that you immediately chuck away all old bras and any other clothes that are now too big for you, or give them to charity shops.

It's sooo easy to slip back into a bigger weight if you have large clothes lying around that fit and feel comfortable. I know this from bitter experience.

I'm sad that you felt you had to wear sports bras. There are bras that will fit and look great at any size! You just need to get fitted properly. Bravissimo are amazing!
