DH stumbled across this cracker of a description

If Brangelina and their brood wanted to buy a house then they could not do much better than this fantastic five bedroom, three receptions, two bathroom family home with lovely landscape garden to rear and optimum parking to front.

Brilliant if the estate agent thinks the Jolie pitts can'take do better than that they need to expand their imagination.

Haha yeah that is a bit of an optimistic description! Aren't estate agents weird Confused

Nice enough house though.

Ha ha, that's hilarious! If Brangelina wanted to buy a house, they would totally go for a non-descript suburban house in Croydon.

It doesn't have enough bedrooms for a start!

That's hilarious. I thought you were going to link to a luxury mansion, not a semi in Croydon Grin

Yeah that's stretching the imagination a bit to imagine Brad mowing the lawn there. But I guess it's caught your attention which is what they wanted after all.

Yes I hadn't thought about the lack of bedrooms... Otherwise I'm sure they'd snap it up! Grin

How odd! Some EA descriptions make me cringe.

HahahaGrin. Amazing! I'm sure Brad is on the phone to the agent right now...

Estate agents are so weird
DD recently bought flat with lovely period features (they may not all be original but they are in keeping with age of property)None of which were mentioned in the blurb or pointed out when she viewed it .

We just had our house valued by 3 estate agents. One focused on our range cooker (which we are probably taking with us) rather than the actual house

Ugh who puts tiles down in their sitting room? So cold and hard.

Awkward layout downstairs and up.

Nice garden.

That's so funny.

I expected that it was an exaggeration but not that it would be so much an exaggeration Grin

I bet brangelina are really regretting buying their mansion now

bloodyteenagers · 18/06/2016 11:09

I think the Brangelina clan would also require more bathrooms and toilets.

My parents live 5 minutes away from there - I'll ask them to keep an eye for Ange picking up cut-price chicken thighs in the Aldi round the corner Grin

How odd. I'm trying to imagine the EA's thought processes that lead the from looking at that rather unattractive house to coming up with Angelina Jollie and Brad Pitt as a selling idea.

Do they pair all the houses on their books with celebrities do you know OP?

Tbh, if I were looking to buy a house and came across an EA with something silly like this on a property blurb I'd move on pretty swiftly. When I'm buying a house I want to use an EA that approaches the whole process a little more professionally.

That has really cheered me up. Though there are rumours they're on the rocks, maybe once the lawyers have taken all their cash this will be ideal for them Grin

And where are their obvious live in staff going to sleep, on the settee?

Report
susurration · 18/06/2016 13:37

From the description I was expecting at least a detached mid sized mansion with a couple of acres. I can not see Brangelina being all that impressed. Not sure they know their target market tbh.
