Sorry not a yabu but couldnt find chat on the app.

Sil is making a big fuss about her nearly 5yo needing a nap after lunch trying to dictate to mil when she serves dinner and we are wrong because we stayed at pil last night (despite it being so we can help this morning and go visit DH GF in his nursing home).

My ds was 2 last week he wont be napping, DN is at school she doesnt need to bloody sleep surely?

She is a twat who is not ruining our day angry

ddubsgirl Wed 25-Dec-13 09:48:16

dog has destroyed the toy from his stocking lol cat helped himself to the pack of treats while I was filling up the toy that came with it with said treat angry and then decided the paper primark bag was more fun to play it grin

Loopy so sorry, I think your New Years resolution should be to kick his drunk selfish arse out. Hope your day gets better

Misspixietrix Wed 25-Dec-13 09:51:57

No but I got in to one yesterday with a self-entitled twat in the Cinemas. BIL got into one for standing up for an old lady who was being bullied by a cunt in a car park and didn't expect a 6ft bloke to come along and stick up for her grin. DM is trying. She's trying to order me around the kitchen. Nobody should ever do that with Miss Pixie. It always leads to trouble smile

Loopy, if I were you, I'd take all the ungrateful shit's presents back, get refunds, and spend the lot on yourself, in the sales. What an arse. I hope you, your DS, and your cat have a lovely rest of the day.

Only semi-arguement here was DD1(4) having an excitement induced tantrum, because her baby sister was given a present in a gift bag, whereas her multitude of presents were wrapped! She did calm herself down and apologise to everyone, including DD2, so I'm actually feeling quite proud of her.

Tomorrow should yield more results though, as we're visiting family, and my DSis and I always seem to manage to fit a blazing row in somewhere! fgrin

Just with DP who wouldn't get out of bed. But alls well now. He's in the shower, I'm just out of it and we will all be ready for DD1 getting home from her dads.

thanks to everyone having a less than good Christmas morning.

No arguments here, other than the cats shouting at me for their favourite biscuits. DH still asleep, I've just put some washing on! Going out on my bike for a quick spin in a minute - lovely and sunny here.

Happy Christmas everyone X

Spent 10 may mins in the bathroom crying after not so 'D'H took DS downstairs to see what Santa had brought him, without me and DD. Its probably the last year DS will believe in Santa.

Apparently that's what I told him to do...

CoffeeQueen187 Wed 25-Dec-13 10:15:07

Yep, had an argument with my 7yo DS because he didn't get an xbox for Xmas.

Apparently I'm the worst mum in the world and he hates Santa grin

He'll get over it soon.... I hope confused

No arguments here but have told dd2 to calm down a bit. She was super-excited opening her presents, tore the paper off at a rate of knots, chucked the present on the sofa without hardly looking at it and moved on to the next. Then complained that dd1 had more presents than her when dd1 was still opening her own. All fine now.

Merry Christmas! fgrin

No arguments here but DSis has brought her dog here after only letting us know a couple of days ago and despite assuring us he's housetrained and will be kept by her side all day I've just gone upstairs to find a steaming turd and puddle of wee all over my bed. Nice sad

Papyrus02 Wed 25-Dec-13 10:18:03

DH and I argued last night. His mum came over yesterday with lots of presents for the DD's and I got cross because she doesn't have a lot of cash and most of it is bought on credit. Which means she'll be in debt later this year/ next year and we will have to bail her out. As we have had to do in the past ( to the tune of quite a lot of money). DH says it's her choice but it pisses me off.

He was annoyed at me because apparently I'm off with his mum and it's very noticeable - I was off, but that was after she announced her upcoming trip to Sri Lanka.... Sigh.

It nearly escalated to a major row. But we have said we will talk about it after Xmas.

ephemeralfairy Wed 25-Dec-13 10:19:14

FFS now DP has gone back to bed.... Roll on tonight when we can go to friends down the road and I can drink myself daft and the pressure will be off me to make sure everyone is having A Good Time.smile

TheBrotherHoodOfSteel Wed 25-Dec-13 10:23:28

No but if my husband doesn't stop playing marvel superheroes that I stupidly got him for Christmas I am going to murder him! We have guests due here in an hour and my mum doesn't look too pleased to be watching him take over the tv. I'm bored of Christmas songs so have put power ballads on instead wink
Merry Christmas everyone!!! grin

blahe Wed 25-Dec-13 10:26:36

Binkiewoon - I would be bloody furious. Have they cleaned it up and promised new bedding/mattress?

200Cigarettes Wed 25-Dec-13 10:35:11

No arguments but mother and sister aren't talking to me so no card presents or phone call, not even to the children.

Misspixietrix Wed 25-Dec-13 10:39:37

BinkieWoon shock hope you're making her clean it up and its been thrown in the yard.

Euphemia Wed 25-Dec-13 10:42:13

I'm just about ready to lamp DH for being a grump. Bacon rolls are making me feel better.

As predicted, MIL sent DD (11) a scarf she's knitted which is a foot long i.e. only fit for a dolly.

BIL and SIL have bought MIL a computer (<facepalm>) and are asking for my email address. No. Fucking. Way.

peacefuleasyfeeling Wed 25-Dec-13 10:47:24

Loopy, my heart goes out to you, how utterly bloody miserable sad. His loss, you clearly know how to create a lovely Christmas, and I hope you do get to enjoy yourself in spite of him. And congratulations on your pregnancy!

No arguments yet. But there is a definite iciness between DH and I, his pressie to me was 5lb of shortbread and a hysterectomy done privately. (I don't need one, I just complained about the 'curse')

Euphemia Wed 25-Dec-13 10:50:05

5lb of shortbread and a hysterectomy

Binky, you win Christmas! fshock

Thank you! should I be worried at the fact he is sharpening the knives?

FalalalalalalaFiggy Wed 25-Dec-13 10:53:15

Oh god my 40yr old sil is now throwing a wobbly because her 94yo GF has only given her a cheque for £25 this year not the usual £50.......she is of course minted and doesnt even need it angry

Euphemia Wed 25-Dec-13 10:59:02

Binky Is he a trained gynaecology surgeon? confused

How was the private hysterectomy presented to you?

No he works in the water industry, I think he's confused about 'water works'.

The presentation of this wonderful gift was, he snuggled closely to me on the sofa (after the biscuit presentation) placed his mouth near my ear, at this point I'm thinking Oh yes I get my present later how early can I get the kids to bed. He then whispers 'Your other present is I will pay for you to get your lady bits sorted out', 'Hey what? erm what do you mean?' his reply was 'You know, your lady bits' I'm thinking what labia trimming? Fix the hymen?, 'You know your bits, so you don't have the hassle every month'

I politely declined the offer, had a mouth full of tea and left the room before I decked him.

YouTheCat Wed 25-Dec-13 12:34:48

That is the most outrageous thing I ever heard! grin

I'd reciprocate with a vasectomy done with two bricks. wink
