I spent my morning helping DD(3) learn the alphabet and some paint. She absolutely loves getting smeared in it. Then I took her to the doctor for our weekly check up as she has been ill lately. After that I took her to the park to cheer her up. For dinner we (DH too) went to a kiddie restaurant which she loves going to and playing with all the toys and the slides.

Fell back asleep on the sofa whilst DS was playing... Then ran a breastfeeding group, then an antenatal session, then went grocery shopping, had a cup of tea with my mum, went back to hers for dinner, giggled in the kitchen as my 15 year old brother had a girl over, came home, put the shopping away, got into my pjs and lounged on the sofa.

Bit dull really.

Hope your DD is on the mend.

Got up, got dressed, went for a walk to get 19 week old ds asleep. Lounged about alone watching catch up tv. Cooked dinner, put ds to bed now I'm sitting home alone thinking I should go to bed.

Got up - late.

Got dressed - eventually.

Went to work - in the snow.

Came back. Made food. Had a bath. Did a couple of raids on Wow. Then watched some kittens.

I did the school run then the usual ironing dishes and what not. Then Dh came in and decided we should go and get our pictures done for our drivers license renewals, (here you do it in the DVLA office local to you, in US) So we spent an hour waiting for our numbers to be called, had our eye sight checked, paid a bunch of money and left. Went to bank, hardware store, groceries and home, just in time for the school run, homework, dinner cooking, finish mopping the floors ( I was half done when Dh got his bright idea) Got Dd showed, and waiting for bedtime. I'm bloody knackered, my days are normally drank tea and played online!

Walked to the library with DD and two of my closet friends and their babies. Library was shut so went to our favourite little bookshop, which also has a coffee shop, instead. The girls all had a play, mums had coffees and cake then ran some errands. Then went to one of friend's houses for an impromptu lunch.

Once home, settled DD for a nap then flipped on sofa to do some important mumsnetting thinking.

Did some wee jobs then made DD's tea. DH came home and I popped out as I'm going to be looking over my friend's nursery property (nursery not opened yet) whilst she's on holiday. Discussed my impending career change (switching from one job in education to that of a nursery manager & now thinking about resigning from a pretty amazing, well paid job but all-consuming role so that I can manage this lovely, tiny nursery and be with DD all day..

Came home to DD still awake - teething.

Eventually sat down to beef and apple casserole with dumplings that DH had made, washed down with a glass of wine. Watched 'Junior Doctors', sorted some bits out then went to bed and had sex... by candlelight. Cheesy, I know.

So, actually a lovely day (mostly) with some exciting stuff to think about but, on balance, dull for anyone else to read!

Had breakfast and a neb,,, spoke to respiratory Nurse, had cuppa and a neb, saw Dr, had lunch, and a neb . Boyfriend visited had cake and Tea with him. Had a neb. Had rank dinner, sister and Dad came to visit they brought a subway, had a neb. Now can't sleep

Dropped DS off at school. Had a fry up in a greasy spoon. Had a cocktail in posh hotel at midday. Spent the afternoon in bed with BF. Had a shower and went to DF's for dinner.

Am tired of never getting out cos I don't have a sitter, so had a daytime date instead.

Got up late, dropped DD off at my sisters, went to work. Finished work, came home, stripped gloss paint from a door, cleaned up, ordered takeaway, fell asleep on the sofa, just woke up.
My sister is having DD overnight as I have work again tomorrow, don't know what to do with myself when she isn't here!

I cleaned the kitchen floor (half arsed), tidied the playroom, watched a film with the DC's as they were home from school, cried over my budget, made cauliflower crust pizza for lunch, pottered about as I had a headache, made beans and chips for dinner, put the children to bed with a bigger headache, broke the shower head so I had to wash my hair with the hose tube thing, cleaned up dog poo from the living room and caught up on the great comic relief bake off.

I lead an exciting life.

We got up late, it was a national holiday, had some breakfast, me and DD went to buy stuff for lunch and got the Hobbit on Dvd, came home, had lunch, went out again so DH could get his hair cut, came home, took DD swimming, had our dinner and went to bed.
Today will be marginally less interesting.

Jealous of just about everyone except giraffes

Got up 0630, got DD up 0700, dropped DD to nursery.
Worked 0830 to 1815
Went to Sainsburys cafe for a sandwich
Worked at Out of hours 1900 till midnight.

Not my choice, luckily I only have one OOH shift a month & ten working days till mat leave. Yippeee!
