Been reading various threads on mn with interest for several weeks now.why do u ladies feel do pessimistic about ur work life balance and compete with the ' oh poor me title'. If you want a better quality of life, surely u can downsize and have less financial Responsibilty and then look after ur dc yourself instead of paying others to look after them. I just don't get why you have kids unless you wanna love And look them yourself. This doesnt apply to single the financial gain worth it?

So should intelligent, driven, talented women who have plenty to contribute to the world tie themselves to the kitchen sink and sing nursery rhymes as SOON as they bag a man to finance them, or wait til they manage to procreate? hmm

Where would you like me to downsize to exactly? hmm
I think that I speak for most of us here in saying "Jog on, there's a dear!"

Nkf, I'm a sahm, who lives within my means because I believe I'm the best educator/ facilitator for my child. She will grow up and then I have time to focus on' my goals and desires'. Dp fully supports me.

Tweasels Mon 26-Nov-12 23:06:40
