In which, middle class India Knight called la Liz everything under the sun on her nasty twitter diatribe of nonsense.

Schadenfreude, I know.

grin Bupcakes, I was being polite.
Yes that was the book MrsCB. I recommend you don't read it.
And I may be wrong here so don't quote me as I may have the wrong journalist, but I'm pretty sure she wrote a very nasty column about women being far too old to be mothers at 40, and then proceeded to have a child at the same age.

Bupcakes that's really well spotted! Uncanny.

I can't believe I've just read a Liz Jones article and left it with a degree of empathy for Liz Jones shock. It's messing with my head.

I used to love India Knight once upon a time. She wrote a witty, insightful series of columns somewhere, I believe. I got bored when she started on the "I've lost weight! No need to ask me how - I'll tell you!" stuff.

Does anyone actually know what India's real name is?

I do think Liz has a bit of a cheek complaining about India slagging her off as Liz has made a huge amount of money slagging off huge swathes of society. Can't have it both ways, love.

BupcakesAndHaunting Tue 30-Oct-12 22:45:08

I bet her real life name was Pamela. She looks like a Pamela.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch Tue 30-Oct-12 22:45:43

Liz that was from her diet book. I quite liked "the shops" by IK but "Comfort and Joy" wasn't much fun.

Yes arabella weir wrote "does my bum look big in this?"

LittleBearPad Tue 30-Oct-12 22:45:43

IK drove me round the bend when she had her eyes lasered. It was as if no one else had ever done it. Every tweet ended #eyes. Gah

BupcakesAndHaunting Tue 30-Oct-12 22:46:49

Who remembers when she had an epic benny when after she appeared in an interiors magazine, someone revealed that she's had her interiors "done" by a professional?

AllYoursBaBOOshkAHH Tue 30-Oct-12 22:47:11

I think her real name is Skegness Day.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch Tue 30-Oct-12 22:48:12

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/India_Knight#section_5

She's been using Knight as her surname since aged13 - stepfather's name.

Vagabond Tue 30-Oct-12 22:48:20

the interiors mag! gah! I remember....

PoppyAmex Tue 30-Oct-12 22:51:43

Doctrine I think LJ meant she changed her first name.

I think she's a Shirley.

TheCrackFox Tue 30-Oct-12 22:53:38

I actually bought IK's The Thrift Book from Poundland - no where in said book does she say if you are really skint shop in Lidls and Primark. She actually states that we should spend £200 on a dress as we will get far more wear out if it. I didnt even spend that on my wedding dress.

LadyBeagle - here

TheDoctrineOfSnatch Tue 30-Oct-12 22:58:24

Leb I think she did lose weight, don't know if it stayed off.

Some of the ghostwritten? recipes turn up on the low carb threads.

cocolepew Tue 30-Oct-12 22:58:47

She looks like a Jean to me.

cocolepew Tue 30-Oct-12 23:00:48

I believe she was the only person, in the world, ever to have lost weight.
