So have I then! I thought it meant it was something he aspired to do one day... hence the list.

Not as bad as me thinking "I had my first real sex dream" were the opening lyrics to "Summer of 69" by Bryan Adams. For a lot of years.

Haha! Loads of people thought the lyrics of Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze went 'Scuse me while I kiss this guy'.

And someone thought 'You Picked a Fine Time to leave me, Lucille' included the words 'Four hundred children and a crap in the field'.

I think Lucille was right to leave.

"I got my first 6 string, bought it at the 5 and dime, played it 'til my fingers bled, was the summer of '69"

Interesting to note, Bryan was 10 in '69...

I thought the Blur song Coffee and TV went "give me confidence in me", even though I knew the title was Coffee and TV. I really am rubbish with lyrics.

I thought the lighthouse song went "you and me and five hungry people.."

My mum used to sing "I predict a riot" as "I've got Tourette's"

She's bonkers!!

I love misheard lyrics! I'm sure there's a website called Kiss the Sky where people can submit their misheard ones.

I used to sing Emoshika instead of 'I'm all shook up' in the Elvis song! I just thought Emoshika was just something that happened when you're in love!!

I thought the words to Karma Chameleon were

"Become a come-a come-a come-a come-a come-a comedian"

"My mum used to sing "I predict a riot" as "I've got Tourette's"

She's bonkers!"

I used to think it was that as well until last year. Blush Nobody else I know hears it that way, so glad for your bonkers mum.Grin

DH and I used to hear ''I predict a riot'' as ''I've got Tourette's'', now that we know what the actual lyrics are neither of us can remember how we heard it as ''I've got Tourette's''.

This may "out" me but bugger it.

I always thought Rock The Casbah said "Charleeeene don't like it!", i was gutted when i found out it didn't :(

I still sing that though :)

Macy Gray "My world crumbles when you are not near" - I used to hear it as "I wear goggles when you are not near Blush Oh and Billy Myers "Kiss the rain" really sounds like "gies a ring." In my head anyway.

Somersaults, Rangers fans used those exact lyrics and sang them at Old Firm Games.

(just for folk that don't know, rangers are blue, Celtic are green)

Iv said it before and I'll say it again on here... On Blondies " heart of glass" I hear; "its just no good your cheesy like a kipper"
