just wrapping inlaws gifts,
sil- aromatherapy oils and burner, tartan pj's, slipper socks, chick lit book.

mil- m and s jumper, bodyshop perfume, nice diary, slipper socks and scented candle.

bil- nice pen and bottle of whiskey.

culdnt think of anything original after 16 years of buying them pressies, but now am wondering if its all a bit boring and not very personal.

Sounds fine to me. Are they very adventurous, would they expect something wackier?

They are fine and wonderful gifts.Remember it is the thought that counts the most.
If you buy these types of gifts often then no perhaps they are not original, but that shouldn't make them any less lovely presents. The only other alternatives are to become lazy and either ask them what they would like which would then A) run the risk of being a bit out of your budget range and B) there would be no surprise instore for them (which if your a big kid is kind of the point)
or truly boring,by a load of gift vouchers (VVVVVVV lazy).

Sounds fine - but if I was your sil I'd be very upset by the chick lit!

We have bought mil nothing so far as I can't be arsed and am sick of trying and getting it wrong and dp has no ideas at all (as usual!).

will they like them???

if yes, then they're fab presents! there are a few things that i don't mind getting year after year, because I like them, but don't necessarily tend to buy them for myself

thanks just wanted a bit of reassurance. in the past have either got them things they really need or theatre tickets/ house history box etc. But this year was really difficult as they have everything and i have run out of inspiration.

Oh I think they sound like nice presents!

I'd love something snuggly, something to read and something nice smelling on Christmas day.
I like presents you can pop on straightaway and things you can use/enjoy like books and perfume.
