Hi all.

I have decided that for my sister this year I'm going to do her a treat box. I have already decided that I will put chocolate, a dvd, a notebook and small things like that in it but I would like to add a 'main' present as well. She is likes to think she is very grownup so I was just looking for all you lovely people of mumsnet to advise me.

BTW the budget for the whole thing is about £50-75.

Thanks

Amazon or Spotify voucher?

Theatre tickets?

Is she into anything you could get a good book on? Or buy a cheap kindle on Black Friday.

I think she would like vouchers but I am so dead set against giving them.

I don't think she would be able to sit still/quiet enough for theatre. She does like to talk constantly.

Books are a brilliant idea I hadn't even thought about that she loves reading. I worder if Jacqueline Wilson has released a new one recently.

Thank you for your reply Grin

YY JW has released a new book.

Just asked 12yo DD for ideas:

Zoella stuff - loads in 3for2 in Boots
Lush bath bombs
Pretty stationery - can get cheap from Wilkos
Pretty fluffy socks

Anything unicorn related seems popular with my dd and her 12 year old friends

What about an instant camera, like the Fuji instax? Cool shoes like vans or superstars? Or a name necklace. DD 12 likes all that kind of stuff.

A name necklace is a good idea if you want something more personal. I'm thinking about getting my dd one for her 13th birthday.
