He's 15 and I don't want to be getting a £40 a month contract....we are with tesco and they don't offer an upgrade deal!

Dd 15 wants one too. I found a deal on carphone warehouse for £24 a month, £59.99 upfront. It's for the iPhone 6 though, not 6s.

I dont usually get him the latest one. Last year he had the 5c which is perfectly fine but he's sold it to put towards a new one. Thanks for the link

You can get an iphone with a contract from O2 through Amazon at the moment. They had some for £32-50 a month with the phone free.
What sort of price were you looking for?
I think some of the better deals were at the weekend, but I'm sure there's still offers around.

I got the iPhone 6 recently because it was quite a bit cheaper than the 6S and just as good IMO. For deals you could check MoneySavingExpert and/or Money Supermarket. And if I remember right, Tesco Mobile usually has good iPhone deals (they run on the O2 network).

If you can afford it, it usually works out much cheaper to buy the handset sim-free and then get a sim only deal. Otherwise pay as much as you can afford for the handset to keep your monthly bills down.

Quite a few good deals on carphone warehouse just now. Some at just under £30 a month. There is an upfront cost on some of them though.

Check out giffgaff. They do really good deals.

You'd probably be better off buying the iPhone via the apple website on 0% finance for 12 months then using the £10 a month sim only contact from tescos. It will look like your paying more as the phone is to be paid over 12 months instead of the usual 24 but will actually work out much cheaper in the long run x

I'm looking for an iphone 6 at the moment. We need 64gb storage though as 16 isn't enough and the best deal I can find is GiffGaff. £100 upfront £28.27 per month which includes a £10 goodybag(unlimited minutes I think, unlimited texts and 1gb data). You can pay £25 upfront if you prefer but it'll alter the monthly cost. It works out slightly cheaper than Apple's 12 month IFC as the phone price is £499 as opposed to £539. You'll also get £5 cashback if you go via topcashback.
Obviously it'd be a bit cheaper if I just paid the £499 but I think it's about 89p a month to pay in instalments and I've not got a spare £500 at the mo!
