Teenage DDs:
Real techniques brushes and bath bomb crackers so far. I'm usually done by now but they don't want toys anymore so it's tricky.

So far:

DD (will be just 6):
nightie, Boden stuff: knickers, socks, dress, Aquarellum paint set, colouring book, pack of 24xSharpies, Leapfrog Leappad + some reading games (might give this for her birthday), Cinderella (film) fancy dress, books

DD (3.5):
Boden dress, Leapfrog Tag system and associated games/books, Mr Men glitter book set (from the Book People), Djeco craft kit, Depesche colouring book, fairy duvet set (might keep back for birthday)

All the above bought on offer. Many deals (e.g. Boden codes etc) courtesy of the Bargain thread :)

I am being restrained this year so haven't gone bonkers. I also have a stock of gifts bought in the January sales so some will go into the stockings and some will be kept as presents for birthday parties.

I am waiting now til the kids give me some pointers. Last year they got heavily into Barbie and the Secret Door just before Christmas and would've loved to have received some of the dolls in their stockings. So will wait and see before I buy anything else unless some unmissable bargain pops up that I can't resist

For DD (6) from me I have -
Barbie car, secret diary, mini American Girl doll, nail painting set, a Monster doll and colour your own fairy lights.

Then Santa is delivering a Truly Me doll, clothes for the doll to wear (copies not the official clothing), a mini gum ball machine that will be filled with haribo, small playmobil set, bath bomb, barbie DVDs.

I still need to raid poundland for a few stocking fillers but have been really lucky with sales and special offers this year.

For ds (age 2): Happyland construction set, Little people princess pack and Cinderella carriage. Some t-shirts and Olaf hooded towel. Then he has some new books.

That's him done, I do feel he needs like a main present like he did have last year but the only thing I can think of is a woody doll so perhaps I will get him that as well depending on money.

Have lists done for everything else I want to buy, but need to wait for pay day!

Backstory: my Dad's in his 80s with mixed dementia and a few other health problems, but he does love a drink. It's not safe for him to have access to bottles of booze when I'm not staying with him (he has a carer in for an hour a day), because he goes a bit nuts with it and has fallen in the past - but one drink a day won't hurt, so...

I'm doing 'Dadvent' - a bit like an advent calendar - there are 24 little bags, labelled with the date, each containing a different alcoholic drink (miniature vodka, whisky etc. with a mini mixer, or a can of a mixed drink, like gin & tonic) plus a mini bar of chocolate and a savoury snack -a pack of twiglets, or mini Cheddars etc. Bags will be squirrelled away in my room, to be handed to him in the evening by the carer. Still looking for more little gifts to include Smile

No children in our family, but I still have my husband to buy for - probably a couple of England rugby tops, if he's not too embarrassed to wear them after 'our' performance in the World Cup!

Also got most of the children I need to buy for including, personalised dressing gowns, Toot Toot bits and Duplo.

18 month old DD: £200 of Happyland for just over £100. Wooden building blocks, wooden percussion instruments, Buzz Lightyear hoody. Stocking fillers are a toy Cosy Coupe, a bath toy, some crayons, some Milkybar Buttons. Still got a few more bits to get but happy with that lot so far.

DP: currently in the process of putting together his massive photobook. Also got him a couple of Star Wars novels and some socks.

No idea what to get for parents, siblings yet. Will probably vistaprint a calendar of DD for grandparents and great grandparents, it went down a treat last year and they all use them :)

For DD - an iPad, headphones, craft bits, a couple of dolls, pram and baby doll, few board games. Ordered some bits for her stocking too, but that needs to be finished.

All mindees presents bought, most of the nieces presents bought, DH stocking fillers done, just need him to tell me what he would like this year (we do a list then get bits off so we still have a surprise)

Mother's PJ's ordered, just waiting for them.

Went for photo's this morning so we can make calendars out of them, will possibly order a photobook for MIL too and a nice picture for DH and I as a joint present.

So not too much left to get then I can concentrate on the food, organising a Christmas event and doing shopping for a couple of friends who whilst they have their lists don't quite get round to buying the presents (one posted Christmas presents with easter eggs once!)

Not much. Ddad's birthday next week signals 10 weeks to go and that's usually when I start getting things sorted.

Apart from the fact that a lot of my family (Mum, Dad, both sisters and their kids, MIL and her sister and my girls) all have panto tickets as their main present. A family tradition built up over the years. First I just took my kids. Then, because my Dad took us as kids we invited him (Mum not interested). Next year, after Dad raved about it, they were all interested and now I buy the tickets when they are released in May so we get front seats. Then I just need a token gift for them to open on xmas day 'from' the kids as their present from DH and I is the ticket.

I do have a laptop sleeve for DD2 that exactly matches her magenta notebook (that she bought herself with savings).

And DD1 has a little kit that turns her boiled egg into batman! Complete with cutters to make bat soldiers to dip.

And DH1 has a VW beetle tshirt.

Apart from that, I have nothing.

For dd1 (will be 3):
Small elc craft case
Raccoon matching game from elc

For dd2 (will be almost 7 months)
Leapfrog talking Lappup
Fisher Price purse thing

Still want to get a few bits, going to get dd1 the dolls house and furniture set from asda, going to wallpaper and carpet the inside as it seems a bit plain. And I've also seen a pretend baking set in the elc half price sale that I want to get her. That will probably do her for this year as she's getting a motorised car from her great nan Hmmlol!

No idea what else to get dd2, I'm sure she won't really need much else at that age but if we see anything then we'll get it.

All friends' kids that we buy for have card games, Melissa and Doug craft kits (amazon) or books (the book people).

All grandparents will get a photo calendar and something edible.

Parents we do theatre or concert vouchers between all siblings.

Only one sibling without dc (we don't buy for adults with dc) and they have Fatface tshirt/hoody from sale.

DDs (6&4) have got from Santa: soft Frozen dolls, play foam, hair bands, clips etc, frozen bag and umbrella, hello kitty jewellery, notepads, pens and night lights, books, cath kidston water bottles, princess wand, toothbrush, knickers, slipper socks. (Amazon, sainsburys 25% off, John Lewis sale and Tesco toy sale)

Christmas Elves will drop off Frozen pjs, reindeer onesies and pink slippers on Christmas Eve. (Tesco, John Lewis & Next sale)

They also have the Barbie car & set of Barbies, and the teapot dolls house and dolls house accessories all bought from the Tesco toys sale with club card vouchers. Can't decide who to give what to so may make them all shared.

I'm all done for dds, wrapped and put away. I've bought throughout the year and only ever from sales. Hopefully they won't develop a new interest or passion between now and Christmas!
