hi

am waiting for payday and then will begin the inevitable xmas shop lol. hated it last year as left it late and shops were crazy stupid busy and crashed my car in a busy car park Sad (not majorly). so i vowed not to go in a shop in dec this year. do love online shopping so may up this but i know there are some hidden gem shops.

main ppl to buy for;

  1. friend couples
  2. family couples
  3. children under 6
  4. mums, dads, sibling
  5. dh and dd
  6. elderly relatives.

just wondered what your top 5 shops were for impulsy gifts thanks

Sainsburys toy sale ( it's always in Oct half term even though, if you ask me that's the worst time to have a Christmas toy sale!)
Amazon often match prices when bigger shops are having their sale ( eg when argos do 3 for 2, Amazon often reduce their toy prices by 1/3.
Smyths Toys seem to be quite cheap as are The Entertainer.
Also check out the Special Buys in Aldi and Lidl ( not online, but if you shop there you'll be in their anyway).

This year I'll be avoiding Argos though as I'm sick to death of the bad service, low stock level, lack of choice when there's more than one option for something and the fact that you might reserve something at one price only to find that it's gone up when you get to the store.

Smyths the toy store, they use those couriers that let you track the driver, street by street. Really good prices, and customer service.

Waitrose Wine Cellar.

The Raspberry Pi Swag Store, although a lot of stuff seems to be out of stock atm. Fast delivery, and they take PayPal.
