Ideas for DD (2.6)

DD will be 2.6 at Christmas. All I can think of is a bike as she loves DS's. I have loads of ideas for DS and DSD but stumped for DD!
She loves peppa, plays a bit with little figures, sylvanians etc.

Any ideas would be very welcome.

If you get a bike, I recommend a balance one (no pedals stabalisers). Dolls house? Scooter?

Marking my place as I could do with some ideas too Smile - DD will be 2.7 at Christmas, has asked for a bike but I don't get the point of those balance ones, are they good?

I also thought of dolls house . .

I don't get the point of balance bikes either. She can pedal DS's one. Looking at happyland now but it looks like overpriced plastic tat Confused

It looks like tat but has sooooo much play value, I really don't understand it but children go mad over it and play with it for hours.

Dolls house could be good. If you get a decent sized fairly plain wooden one then as she gets older she can fill it with syvanians, playmobil or whatever she is into rather than buying houses and assorted crap for each thing.

My grandad made her a dolls house last year.
I think she might like happyland. Are they in the sales a lot before Xmas?

Agree on Happyland Indrith - it is over priced but they have it at our toddler group and DD loves it.

My dd is 2.6 now and adores happyland I think around this age they start to pretend and play so by Xmas she will probably be really into it. Other things she currently enjoys are Lego, colouring/arty stuff (got her an easel last year which she loves) play kitchen, dressing up and her pedal bike. Hope that helps a little Smile

If you live near a B&M Bargains they have loads of Peppa stuff, absolute Peppa heaven in there, and most of it is advertised as being half the price of Argos.

The new happyland style is a bit pants IMHO. DD (2.4 at christmas) loves it. She has quite a lot. Argos have started to sell the old style now, at much cheaper than when it was only at elc.

I have bought DD the funfair, which is £30 in Argos, was £60 in elc, and you had to pay extra for the big wheel, which comes included in the Argos one!

I'm also getting her a my first scooter.

Another vote for happyland! Just don't pay full price for it. The mini micro scooter is great at that age - expensive compared to some scooters but worth every penny. DS is now 4, still loves his and it's still in great condition 2 years later.

If she's playing with sylvanians I would get her one of their buildings. She'll probably find happyland a bit lame in comparison. I think a bike or scooter is a great idea too.
