.... that I can give my aunt and uncle on Boxing Day.

Posh is probably the wrong word, just something nicer than the obligatory tin of biscuits. Preferably that I can get on my Tesco order Grin

Any ideas?

Do they drink? Could you get away with a nice bottle of wine? What about Green and Blacks chocolates or port and cheese? I know Tesco has an offer on Thorntons chocolates but I'm not sure that fulfils your poshness criteria Xmas Grin.

How about a bottle of balsamic vinegar (obviously one of the pricier ones). Or good olive oil/organic rapeseed oil?

A nice 'hamper' with a brand one level higher than normal? Eg culpepper tea rather than PG? Posh handwash rather than carex? Nice bottle of wine? Thornton chocs?

If you are close to Sainsburys, they had all their foodie gift sets half price when I was in the other day. Got DH a tapas set (3 bowls, olives, sun dried tomatoes and stuffed bell peppers) for about £7, to match the little tapas cookbook I got him. Other highlights were two of the metal curry dishes with the handles with curry mixes for £6, and oil and balsamic vinegar with drizzlers and a dipping bowl for £6. There were lots more too.

If they like cooking nice spices as they can be expensive, e.g. tin of Spanish pimenton, whole cinnamon sticks. Things like posh honey/maple syrup are good too. And nice crackery/savoury snack things

Camembert baker? From JL, Lakeland etc.

I was swayed when a man with hot camembert enticed me on a shopping trip. You can buy mini ones in ASDA but they don't have the ponce factor.

Thanks for all your ideas Xmas Smile

I've gone for nice olive oil and balsamic vinegar with an olive dip and some stuffed peppers. That'll do!
