Huggle Buddies?

Plonker · 13/11/2011 13:49

Dd wrote her letter to Father Christmas this morning and has asked for a Snuggle Buddy. I've had a quick google and found them on Amazon for £25

Has anyone found them anywhere any cheaper?

It's the ladybird one that she wants.

TIA

I think Home Bargains had deals on these recently but I can't get their website to load at the moment. There are various different brands - try googling pillow pets, cuddle pets etc, ooh look at [[http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/220866230004?var=lv

I got them online and they were much cheaper than that. I just googled pillow pals or pillow pets iirc. We have a ladybird one so they do do them.

I live too far away from a Home Bargains, but have seen similar in Dobbies and Debenhams a while back.

DD1 wanted a unicorn so I got one from ebay for £13 and it is lovely - it has the label on the corner etc so is a genuine one. Some looked very different, and sizes vary also - my daughter would have noticed if it was not genuine.

I saw them in Hawkins Bizarre today in edinburgh, maybe check there? Not sure if they have an online store?!

Ashaboo, which eBay seller did you use? Have been trawling eBay to find a nice one, as some of them look worse than others.

I am as sure as I can be that it is genuine. The sewinq quality is typical of mass produced stuff (I usually make my own) and it has yet to be used as it is put away for Christmas.

Thanks Ashaboo, that does look good, just off to see if they have any others.

Thanks all Smile

I'll check out Home Bargains tomorrow as there's one right near work. Failing that, the ebay one looks very reasonable. Thank you.

Just a word of warning, DD#1 had one for her birthday this year. We wrapped it and didn't check it first - the stitching was incomplete over quite a large portion of the body...Cue one bawling child and no chance of being able to send it back as she wouldn't part with it. Lots of sewing up required to sort it all out. Just check them over carefully when you get them through just in case the same happens to avoid on the day disappointment! (DD#2 wants one now...we will be buying another!)

I bought these ones argos

They've got ladybird, dog, or lion, seem fine, bigger than some of the cheaper ones I've seen.

Just give it a hot wash with some biological powder & I'll be fine.

I'd also complain to the bay seller
