Christmas

Footprints? Elf dust? What 'clues' has Father Christmas left behind in your house?

I've just sprinkled a liberal amount of 'elf dust' (green glitter) on our doormat - where FC has wiped his feet. Have also eaten the mince pie left out for him very messily, leaving crumbs all over the table and chewed up the carrot and left broken bits on the path outside. What mess has Father Christmas left behind in your house?

foil tray of the mince pie (no crumbs as too delicious!) and end of a chewed carrot (hamster helped eat the rest!) and a thank you letter for the pie and carrot get left behind here. Along with the pile of gifts Xmas Grin

Aahh that's what I need for next year - a carrot-eating hamster!

Oh yes, had forgotten about the presents - the biggest clue of all that 'he's been'! Xmas Grin

Remnants of a glass of milk and mince pie. Plus I've had to nibble 9 carrots as there are apparently 9 reindeer (Ds was very insistent!).

sleigh tracks and hoof marks in the snow on our patio, and the end of a carrot. Inside there are a few mince pie crumbs and a load of soot on the hearth! Merry Christmas everyone!

Empty cup of milk, mince pie crumbs & carrot crumbs, care of greedy greyhound, left by front door. GrinCan't face nibbling the carrot myself!
Feel guilty for only leaving out one carrot though! Grin

A few years back I left a trail of glitter from the back door to the presents. I thought it was magical.DS2 was first down in the morning and came rushing upstairs woke his dad and asked him to get the vacum out as Santa had made a mess. He was worried that if I saw it I wouldn't let Santa back in! Blush

This years clues were a stocking for the dog and the crate cover moved to the side. It was supposed to look like Santa had moved it to see the puppy.
The dc are wondering if santa would use our toilet when he was here so we also moved the soap and towel (to show he washed his hands)

Santa left our DC a letter next to the mince pie plate. He thanked them for the Baileys and cookies and congratulated them for successfully staying on the Nice List for another year :)

Empty baileys glass, crumbs from a cookie on a plate which had moved from the kitchen to beside the fire.
The reindeers left half a carrot (DD insisted we left them 5.) There is evidence on the patio of where they messily ate them (other half of the carrot grated.)

last year dd was quite upset that FC left snowy footprints on our hearth so she insisted on putting a doormat on it LOL

FC was very considerate and wiped his snowy feet on the mat - very neatly even if I do say so myself! Unfortuatly, Rudolph was a bit excitable about the 5 carrots and left hoof prints all over the living room carpet. He also ate 4 carrots completely and left teeth marks in the other one (small cookie cutter with fluted edges).

Oh and FC always leaves crumbs from his mince pie, spills his milk, and this year left a letter apologising for Rudolph's behaviour.
