He was going to have lincoln logs (wooden logs that make log cabins) but I had to order from the states and now it seems they haven't been sent Angry. I need an urgent replacement. He is nearly 4 and our house already looks like a toy shop. I struggled to think of anything in the first place since DS1 is only 2 years older and we have EVERYTHING (as a result largely of my mothers obsessive toy buying habit!).

Help!!! I need inspiration!

Like the rocket lancelottie but I'm very nervous about ordering anything online now in case it doesn't arrive!

We don't actually have any playmobil Jareth so I could look at that thanks

If it helps, his other presents are:

small lion king figures
toy story 3 on dvd
4 CD stories with read along books (parents are buying him a CD player thing from elc)
batman, peter pan and ben 10 dressing up costumes
five small ben 10 figures
peter pan puzzle
2 normal books
star wars money box
smiley shark game

Compared to what DS1 has (mainly masses and masses of pirates of the caribbean lego which cost £30 from ebay but looks enormous), DS2's list looks tiny Sad

Huge box full of craft stuff?

Camera?

Remote controlled car?

And IMO a boy can never have too much Lego :)

Goodness, I think he's having quite a lot to be getting on with.

Our ds1 is having much less then yours so far. But we are buying him a bike in the sales! Haven't worked out what to tell him yet. Santa couldn't fit it down chimney so we have to wait for it? Could you tell yours the same?!

can you split the pirate lego between them?

expect they'll both play with it anyway, so might as well go to both :)

Good idea to split the Lego.

Any other ideas anyone? Have found a uk alternative to the lincoln logs but they are £99 rather than the £35 I was paying to get them from the US Shock

hotwheels track. Theres one that hooks over a door, then zoom doww and loop the loop. My boys (ds1, ds2 and dh) played all day with that one.

"And IMO a boy can never have too much Lego"

LOL. When I was quite young (my dad died when I was 6/7 anyway), Mum and Dad were not speaking for some reason...

Each of them bought me a Lego set, so I was in Lego heaven for months...

Something simple like blackboard and (white + coloured) chalks ?

Endless drawing, needs a damp cloth [to avoid dust] to wipe off unsuitable 'masterpieces' but good ones can be photographed for posterity...

Good point Wowooo - re Santa could not fit it down chimney, hence delay...
