Antler Chelsea backpack

If there's one thing we've noticed in the last few months, it's that our Mumsnet users love Antler. Be it the Chelsea weekend bag, the overnight bag, or a luxe luggage set... You lot go crazy for the British luggage and travel accessories company.

It's unsurprising though, given that the brand itself has been synonymous with high-quality suitcases, bags and travel essentials for over a century. Antler specialise in designing and manufacturing luggage that is durable, functional, and stylish - and their products range from lightweight carry-on suitcases to larger checked luggage, as well as bum bags, backpacks and accessories (like these packing cubes that are, hello, superb).

One particular holy grail item that's flying into your baskets recently is the Chelsea Backpack.

What we don't like
  • At £140, it's one of the more expensive backpacks on the market

  • Only seven colours to choose from

Key specs

RRP on writing: £140 | Dimensions: 40 x 28 x 17cm | Weight: 0.98kg | Packing capacity: 19l | Special features: Fits a slimline laptop up to 16.5” | Material: Durable nylon | Water-resistant: Yes

It seems our MNers are drawn to this particular backpack because of its practical - yet stylish - functionality. Not only is there ample storage with multiple pockets and compartments, but it's also easy to access (no rummaging anymore) and comfortable to wear thanks to its padded straps and back support. It's also extremely durable, water-resistant and available in seven colours. Although, we'd love to see more colours available.

The hive mind have been riding the Antler wave since Sarvanga38 asked for travel tote recommendations and Janeb1965 dropped the A-bomb.

Antler Chelsea Overnight Bag

I suspect more holdall than tote but I have this Antler weekend bag and I love it. Easily get enough in it for a weekend.

In fact, dropping the A-bomb resulted in a tidal wave across our style and beauty board that resulted in a fair few Antler bags being bought by you all. So, there's a lot of very stylish yet organised and practical Mumsnetters out and about - keep your eyes peeled.
