A few years ago I started my grandma knitting blankets for woolly hugs and she's asked me to say thank you she appreciates the thanks (she's had a couple of letters and an Xmas card).

She absolutely loves doing it and its still giving her something to do on an evening when my grandads watching crap on TV.

So thanks all round then it's a win win situation. The letters and cards when she recieves them make her day and gives her something to chat about to friends and family.

We truly heart her, what a bloomin Star She's honestly truly amazing!

We send her random colour yarn, and she does her magic, and sends back her trademark textured stripes which are just gorgeous, beautiful to look at and beautiful to touch too. They have gone to very sick babies and children in this country and as far away as the Philippines, Myanmar, Malawi and Ghana to children very much in need of a hug.

Knotty and I call them Baker Knits, because she has such a distinctive gorgeous style, and how she has the patience to knit one piece that large is beyond us!!

So glad she liked the card, we sent her a pair of little knitted stockings, we hoped she'd like them, we are so proud to have her as part of the Woolly Hug crew.

I don't know if you are on our FB page - we are Woolly Hugs, we always post pics of arrivals there, you will be able to see what she is making.

She apologised recently for a gap in her knits for us, because she had gorgeous new arrivals in the family, please do stress to her, that knits for us fit in around everything else, we very much come after, no apologies ever needed, we are truly grateful for every single stitch whenever that may be.

And hug her for us please, we are among her biggest fans Grin Star Thanks

There's another one she's just finished that looks like the one in the picture! She's actually on Facebook herself (well it's her name but my grandad does it as she hasn't a clue) if I could pm one of you her Facebook name so she could be added she would love to see the photos.

I'm so glad you all love her blankets, my dcs were very lucky when they were little and my cousins baby now looks adorable with the hats, dresses and blankets she's been knitting atm.
