And The 2018 Golden Bollocks Awards go to …

TimeForDebate · 24/09/2018 00:49

(I'd love it if any talented person out there could design this award … )

Girl Guiding, for:

Saying it's OK to allow teens who can make other teens pregnant into girls’ tents and showers

Sacking a dedicated leader for speaking out against allowing self-identifying boys into girls’ tents and showers

Twittering on about girls’ rights and the importance of expressing themselves while failing to uphold either safeguarding essential

Refusing to discuss the matter with parents

Pips Bunce, for:

Not being a woman
Not being a transwoman
Being a part time drag queen

And

Accepting a place in the top 100 women in business list while his wife does the actual womaning stuff like pregnancy, maternity leave and child rearing that actual women have to blend in with their own career building

FT and Credit Suisse, for:

Sycophantically giving Bunce the award in the first place

The Prison Service, for:

Letting perverted autogynaephiliac rapists and child molesters play them like a fiddle and deliver them to an all-you-can-grope 24 hour buffet of frequently vulnerable women

Bonus award: Making female prison officers strip search intact male prisoners, who must think Christmas has come early

The Green Party, for:

Worshipping gendertwaddle so devoutly that they welcomed in a nappy wearing child-torturing paedophile bloke called Lucy

The BBC, for:

Pathetically inadequate reporting of the extent of Challoner’s crimes against children

I could add a few more but I can now barely type, what with the rage an’ all

DuckingGoodPJs · 24/09/2018 01:55

It will be a very long list to compile them all. :(

SeaWitchly · 24/09/2018 05:31

Wow, it's qute something to view all this fuckwittery in a quick and easy reference guide Sad

How on earth can you decide just which one worthy contender deserves the Golden Bollocks award most...

SeaWitchly · 24/09/2018 05:32

I reckon this should be put out to AIBU...let's have a vote on it shall we Grin

Turph · 24/09/2018 05:41

Can I nominate a certain women's officer for services to social media?
Great thread idea btw

TerfsUp · 24/09/2018 05:43

Or how about the - ahem - upstanding NUS officer?

Turph · 24/09/2018 07:29

TerfsUp
For services to photography?

TerfsUp · 24/09/2018 07:57

Hah, Turph!

TheABC · 24/09/2018 08:03

Don't forget the stunning contribution of Goldsmith's LGBTQ with the TERF gulug tweets.

LangCleg · 24/09/2018 09:20

Teen Vogue - Services to unwanted anal sex.

ErrolTheDragon · 24/09/2018 09:29

I reckon Bunce has earned the coveted 'Bunce Award for inclusion in advisory panels and awards the winner has no earthly reason to belong to'. It's a very inclusive award, including anyone called (even part time) P Bunce.

LangCleg · 24/09/2018 09:37

Manchester Pride - services to the prevention of saggy tits.

BettyDuMonde · 24/09/2018 09:38

BrushBox - for grooming 18 year olds into believing that a) blow jobs twice a day are compulsory and b) swallowing toothpaste is as commonplace as spitting it.

Durham University Student Philosophy Journal and the Junior Humanists for thinking that ‘women don’t have penises’ is so offensive as to qualify as a sackable offence without any kind of due process.

TimeForDebate · 24/09/2018 09:52

I'm awake. Where was I. Oh yes.

Mermaids, Allsorts etc, for:

Producing what is basically child-grooming schools reference manuals aimed at creating a generation of sterilised, drugged and mutilated children who may well have autism at the root of the difficulties they have fitting in - and telling schools not to tell the parents ('shhh ... It's our special little secret ... ')

Schools, for:

Allowing this insane fuckwittery into their classes in the first place and not allowing teachers to do anything other than encourage a confused child down a dangerous path

The Fire Brigades Union, for

An all-male panel basically voting in favour of allowing intact men to go into their still unwelcome minority female colleagues' private spaces where they shower and sleep on long duty shifts, in a job where feeling they are at least safe at the office can help them function out there risking their lives as firefighters

Equity, the actors union, for:

Trumpeting on about Safe Spaces for performances and rehearsals, because of an intense awareness of the particular vulnerabilities of female and young performers and crew - while also signing up to self-ID at the TUC and seeing absolutely zero clash there

Transwomen, for

Insisting they are female (there are a few honourable exceptions out there)

Cheerfully taking 'first woman to .. ' titles from women (I see you, Wachowski 'Sisters')

Thinking they are having periods and will soon be having babies

50-something men insisting on dressing as babies, little girls and teens - trans-age is apparently also a thing. 'Mutton dressed as lamb' used to be a well known insult. 'Ram dressed as lamb' might work?

The ludicrous head tilts, simpering, soppy voices, red talons (when actual women have 'getting on with the womaning' nails), and the utterly appalling dress sense

Not even remotely considering the possibility that by this insane doublethink they might get the menopause, too

Steamrollering lesbians' personal boundaries, by pressuring a group that is generally not a fan of bollocks and cock to accept said ornaments and their requirements as part of a 'lesbian relationship'

Demanding heterosexual wives acquiesce to the fantasy that they are now in a 'lesbian marriage'

Autogynaephiliacs, for:

Just because.

Drag Queens, for:

Failing to accept that if it is not ok to black up and take the piss out of black people, it is not ok to drag up and take the piss out of women

Transmen, for

Deceiving women into believing they are men and then using objects without permission as penis substitutes

Surgeons, for:

Inventing and inflicting those obscene phalloplasty scars on the arms and legs of possibly autistic and mentally suffering young women, leaving them so grotesquely mutilated that they will find themselves rejected from relationships with people who can't bear to look at or touch the results. Just because scientists can do something doesn't mean they should.

Stonewall

AngryAttackKittens · 24/09/2018 10:42

The Guardian for

Continuing to insist that women who have a problem with any of the above are just heartless witches who want to persecute vulnerable people, and making that their official editorial policy. Deleting any dissenting comments. Threatening to discipline female staff who break ranks.

The BBC, for

Proving that the Saville case wasn't a one off and the can and will ignore cases involving the sexual abuse of children if covering them would in any way conflicts with supporting the status quo.

Twitter for

Allowing TRAs to use their platform to send women rape and death threats, and banning those women if they say that women don't have cocks.

JoggerBottom · 24/09/2018 10:56

The 'now you see it, now you don't' award to JB...sorry, for the highjack, but I think there should be more than one award to make sure that everyone is included :)

ILuvBirdsEye · 24/09/2018 11:25

Liverpool City Council - for not having a brain cell between then.

A special one the Mayor though- it will need to be someone wittier than me.

Theinconstantgardener · 24/09/2018 12:27

LGBT Youth Scotland for producing a schools guide to trans gender pupils which advocates 'learners who feel uncomfortable sharing facilities with a transgender young person can be
allowed to use a private facility such as an accessible toilet or get changed after the trans young person is done' and
'If a transgender young person wants to share a room with other young people who share their
gender identity, they should be able to do so. If a transgender young person is sharing a room with their peers, there is no reason for parents or carers of the other young people to be informed'

oh and saying the guide was endorsed by the Scottish Government which it ..err wasn't

TerfsUp · 24/09/2018 12:54

Handmaidens: for insisting that any discussion of concerns about safeguarding or saying "women don't have penises" is transphobic and transbashing.

R0wantrees · 24/09/2018 16:23

The qualified doctor, Helen Webberley who on Radio 5 Live this morning said that defining biological sex 'was a tricky one' but then "cisgender - oh that's much easier". Later said that sex was not of much relevence aside from procreation. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3374512-trans-debate-bbc-5live-post-9am-today-mon-24th-sept

ErrolTheDragon · 24/09/2018 16:28

Sounds as though she's in contention with Dr H for the coveted 'doctor who wasn't paying attention in class ' award.

ErrolTheDragon · 24/09/2018 16:29

(Sorry, to clarify the class in question would be gcse biology)

Badstyley · 24/09/2018 16:33

Don’t forget Thinks, for their bleeders and menstruaters, or cancer research UK for their cervix havers, or British gymnastics for their ludicrous inclusion policy.

PositivelyPERF · 24/09/2018 17:01

I brought the trophy. Do you think it’s subtle enough?

And The 2018 Golden Bollocks Awards go to …
TimeForDebate · 25/09/2018 15:56

Golden Bollocks awards welcomes Girl Guiding to the stage again!

A diversity balls-up award goes to Girl Guiding, for this diversity policy:

‘We understand that if a young member is transitioning from female to male that they will be experiencing a great amount of change and uncertainty. Flexibility and the Leaders’ discretion in conversation with the parents must be used to determine how long the child stays within the unit.’

Really a boy, with the equipment to get a girl pregnant? Into the girls’ showers and bedrooms you go!

Really a girl, with the possibility of sexual abuse, molestation, pregnancy? It’s only a matter of time before you're sent into the boys’ showers and bedrooms.

Zero mention of offering any help or guiding to the girl who may actually be gay, or just more interested in boys’ stuff, or just going through a phase.

This one-way and all the way ticket attitude is going to be a disaster.

What do they think is going to happen when a group of adolescent boys realise a confused and vulnerable teen with breasts and vagina is in the same bedroom or shower as them?
