A bit jumbled but:
DD11 has recently been expressing thoughts about how much she hates being a girl (mostly period related) and then apropos of nothing asked me last night what the patriarchy is and why it's bad (love her!) we had a chat and she's interested to know more so I'd like to get her some books that would inform her but at the same time as embedding a feeling of hope and power.
I guess the books could either be about feminism specifically or just strong female role models. I did look on the mighty girl website but it's all very US orientated.
All my learning has been from MN and content is obviously way to old for her.
Any thoughts/recommendations?
