Just wanted to share about this fab documentary about 1960's/1970's feminism and the birth/development of the "women's liberation movement" in the USA.

It's about the USA feminist movement and it's a fantastic historical insight into what went on back then. I'd love to see a similar program about British feminism made.
It is amazing both to see how much has changed, and also very depressing to see how many of the issues they defined and named and raised awareness on all those years ago, are still massive issues for women today - abortion, contraception, childcare, rape, victim blaming pay gap etc.
I was also astonished to hear those 60/70's feminists talk about how cut off from knowledge about the suffragettes they were - they didn't know about them/learn about them because nothing was taught.
It made me appreciate the Suppressed Histories Archive even more:
