Talking about magazines (OP I am sorry to go OT for just a second) I was reading my mum's Chat magazine earlier, and there was a story about a woman being killed. Here is the sub heading:

Carolyn Killaby went to a bar on her own one Saturday night after her family left her home alone. But little did she know a sick killer would prey on her drunkenness,(see how they are blaming her here??) rape and kill her, then dump her body where no-one would find it. Worse, he blamed her husband...

I am going to write to Chat to complain. It is pretty much saying the murder of a woman is of less concern than a lesser crime against a man.

You don't want to get your knickers in a twist about this stuff. Just remember men's mags like this are designed for readers whose IQs are less than their shoe size. It's just (about, on a good day) one step up from grunt grunt.
Mostly it's pictures 'cos they do do reading and when they read you can see their lips move. It's all a great strain for their tiny brains.....

Unless you live in the congo Othersoil, I doubt you walk bast hoardes of men raping women , it is not something most men do. or manage not to do. The majority of men are not rapists , a minority like every other crime.
