DD is 5, DS is 3 and I'm after inspiration. I'm still using Annabel Karmel's book "Superfoods for babies and children" which I love but have become a bit bored with cooking the same things.

Does AK's "After School Meal Planner" include many more different recipes? Also, does anyone have the netmums 120 foolproof family recipes? How does it compare? Thanks

I haven't tried the Planner book but I've taken to looking through either Good Food Mag or Delicious Mag for new recipes or different versions of the ones I already use and then try the kids on those to get them trying new things which aren't too different.

My DD is 4 and my DS is 2 and we try lots of simple things like egg and chips to Chicken Korma, Chicken Spag Carbonnara and things like that. I only used the AK book till they were about 18 months old and then switched to any other recipe I could find.

I let both kids look through the magazine and point to food that they like the look of and then if possible they help to make it as well.

I use Good Food Magazine too. How To Eat by Nigella Lawson has a section on Children's food which is quite useful I think.
