Weight Watchers - Can I literally eat what I want?

I'm on the WW points plan and I know I can have anything on this plan as long as I add my points up as I go along but just was wondering if I wanted something considered 'bad' like chips or crisps....as long as they were within my points allowance, would I be allowed them every single day?

Well, it's not really a good idea, although they claim it will work. I think the idea is that you get used to eating low or no point foods to fill you up, so that you don't get hungry. You could have a bag of chips - but remember, their idea of a "portion" is sometimes a lot smaller than ours, so that 7 point "medium" bag of chips might be half what you'd consider medium!

I must say when I used up my points eating salads for 0 and then chocolate bars for dessert, I did gain weight. So in answer to your question, probably not!

I have followed weightwatchers on and off for many years now. I have always been a nightmare when it comes to snacking. Chocolate and crisps being the worst for me. I always seem to do really well when I start, even though I spend my points on foods that aren't particularly healthy, but always ensuring I stay within my points. However, eventually my weight will plateau, and at this stage my leader always tells me to limit the snacks to 3 points a day, so I still have crisps and choccie but only 3 points worth!! As for chips etc, if the chips are for my evening meal, then I will have them, again as long as I have enough points left. We all deserve a treat now and again, and if chips is my weekly pick me up then why not have them! Good Luck.

By the way, I have always followed the plan like this - I have now lost 16.5lbs in 11 weeks. Not bad really, so I think it works for me, but obviously your body may be different so you need to find what works for you. Hope that helps.
